KG78Z
Some peolpe never cease to amaze. http://customwheel.com/custom_wheels/product_info.php/products_id/1687 Click on the "see them in action". First person to put something like that on a Z should be shot. KG78Z
veritech-z
I don't know, it would be kinda cool if the wheel itself weren't so ugly and rediculous looking. It wouldn't surprise me if these started showing up on race cars so they could sell more advertising space. Imagine driving around with chunk from the Goonies doing the truffle shuffle on one wheel, and Big-Phil rockin out to some metallica on the other wheel...The possibilites for dumb-ass-ery are endless! It would be much cooler if it could play video.
big-phil
That guy with the rust-tang should put those on his car. They have taxi cabs in Dallas with solid hubcap spinners that have advertisements on them.
240hoke
hahah I dunno, I think they are actually pretty cool. Actualy some technology there haha. If I had a huge suv and an extra 20K laying around i would mount a set up lol.
veritech-z
I've seen the solid hubcap anti-spinners, but not for awhile. Bentleys or Rolls Royce (I don't remember which) come with the little logo in the center caps that are weighted in such a way that they are always straight up and down. 80LS1T
I agree with Austin, if I had a big SUV and $15K laying around I would buy'em! Of course I would have to quit my job fixing cars to be a pimp! Guy
TheNeedForZ
I think it is actually a very neat idea!!!
alsil
Is it me or does the thought of spending $20k on something that can be taken out by a pothole seem crazy??? I could build 2 Z's for 20K. With Centerlines (17's) and killer tires. I can see 20's on a Suburban or big truck. not on a car. one curb, one pothole, time to spend $3-4000 for a replacement. JIM73240Z
somewhere out there, a company has a set of rims that is encrusted with dimonds and jems worth over 1 mil. if you buy them you will get a free bently to put them on. can you say car jacking. that will put some serious tiffany teeth on a lot of getto boys. jimbo
veritech-z
I don't know if that was a joke or not, but there IS a set of rims that is encrusted with Cubic Zirconia that costs upwards of .5 million, and it comes with a pre-paid bodygaurd to stand next to your car for a year. I read an article about it once in a low-rider magazine (it was the last magazine I hadn't read on the rack when I worked at Advance Auto Parts...I usually only read those for the girls anyway)
2126
I think the model name for those wheels (PIMPSTAR) says it all!!!! Tom
mario_82_ZXT
$15k?! POV toys cost like... shot in the dark here... $30-40 to make! Then you could put it on any wheels you have and do the same thing. Oh wait, here it is: $38 I think they'd be cooler on a bike then a car anyways...
