ITB's with a twist

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys:

We are new and soon to be on the market help spread the word! New concept in ITB's where the whole system is Modular in design where the base plates are seperat from the Main Bodies, this allows us to manufacture main components and allows you the DIYer to build your own base plates or utilize our Weber base Plates! 40mm, 45mm, and 50mm!

Everything is Anodized or Stainless, we will also have polished too! RETAIL will be in the $99 per ITB Price range!

Website is www.extrudabody.com

The Test bed below is just an old Weber Manifold and have no Idea who makes it! We designed everything else in the Picture except the Bolts!

Please help pread the word!

Thanks!

Kevin

That Question has a 1000 different answers as every combination of parts and flow characteristics are different, but the first thing is a resevoir to store and Dampin the signal! You will see one on my engine with the 6 hoses coming out of it! That application I used the Idle Air Jet "Ports" instead of the lower Vacuum Ports cause of the Exhaust!

Case in Point a 500 cubic inch engine only breaths 7cfm per cylinder on a set of 50mm ITB's! That's not alot of AIR at Idle! With a 2 bar or 3 bar MAP sensor the resolution even goes down from there compared to a 1 bar sensor, that's where the Alpha N at idle will come in handy!

Hope this helps Guys!

I'm very familiar what it takes to get a steady map signal, as I've owned TWM ITB's in the past, and had them on a turbo'd L6 Z car....

Your pics of the product look very nice.

Just one thing - have your web designer check the site for Firefox usage - the text gets all covered up with the copyright info (ie with Firefox it does not show up on the bottom but 1/2 through the page...ahhh :( ) - I hate it when website are designed around M$ there are other products out there that don't use the M$ custom versions of HTML blah blah....

No, $600 just for the ITBs, not including the manifold, injectors, etc I'm assuming that is all seperate. Also, Prox, check your PM and voicemail bro.

Cool Buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How's life treating you?

Would love to see that happen! Check out our Beta Program on the Website!!!!!! Link is up above!

One of the Neat things about the Extrudabody system is "Length Tuning and Fuel Homogination", we have 25mm and 50mm Extension that can be place before or after the ITB itself! This gives the engine builder/Tuner the ability to tune for ram flow "Effect" it also allows the Throttle Plate and Injector to be move closer or farther away from the Intake valve which has a similar effect on Fuel Homogination! Could be some hidden horse power there simply by experimenting on a DYNO, air flow is a tricky thing!!

The Above Picture is a Pair of SU's on a Datsun 510 SSS Manifold! You can see there is 1 25mm Extension on each ITB! You can go from 3" to 9" total Length, or anything in between if you machine them to a custom size! Also GUYS! They can be Taper bored to put 50mm Air Horns on a 40mm Set of ITB's! Possibilities and combinations are endless for the Tuner to use us to build trick kits with!

Well hope you get the idea! :)
