toecutter
We've got a weekend in the mountains for an upcoming Z cruise so I've been practising with Premiere Pro to edit Z vids I shot with some music. Sulio EDIT: Just chenged the above link to the better quality version.
SteelToad
Wow, really nice. One bit at the end I saw the green one slipping out of frame, and I thought that was your only mistake, but then the red one slipped in ... nice dramatic effect. It's nice to see somebody do editing without trying to put every effect possible in the mix.
toecutter
Thanks Steeltoad. Yer I've been playing around trying to learn how to use the software. It's great fun to put vids together of Z's. I hope I can get some decent footage in November to have a bit of dialogue in the mix also... olie05
did you speed up the playback rate? I'm looking at that cyclist you passed and he must have been spinning a 150rpm cadence... ( i guess it could have been uphill)
toecutter
hehe-yer good eye olie05. Sped up abit and audio also dubbed from my engine bay. I stuck the camera in the engine bay and edited that in at a later point. My aim is to play around with the footage and try to make it as entertaining as possible, having good fun putting it together.
ihatejoefitz
Thanks, nice video. I think it's actually more entertaining to have the engine noise in the background for the entire video, with the music playing over it. Kind of like the way most hollywood movies do it. I really enjoyed the edit though, great shots.
Kimi
Hey toecutter, great work I really liked the vid!
slownrusty
Great Video and although I am *VERY* picky with music on these types of videos, your choice was fine. The cars are simply gorgeous too. What mods are done to them? BTW your username is very intriguing. Yasin
toecutter
Thanks, nice video. I think it's actually more entertaining to have the engine noise in the background for the entire video, with the music playing over it. Kind of like the way most hollywood movies do it. I really enjoyed the edit though, great shots. Yer I started it that way and love hearing the engine rev but it got a little annoying after a while. Most likley listening to it over and over again that did it. I did a short 30 second version up here some where of just the engine. Thanks Guys, Yasin I've got a stock L28 with headers and 240 SU's. I just installed the L28 and have a set of 40mm tripple Dells finished and ready to go when I get some time to bolt them on, (Prolly in December as the SU's are very reliable atm). I think Evans car is pretty stock L26 motor wise with LSD diff not sure of ratio, has been lowered with the addition of flares and front air damn similar to my own. I'm pretty sure he's hoping to install an RB motor in his car though. EDIT: The better quality version. Sulio
Mr.INSANE
I Thoroughly enjoyed watching that although it got a tad boring seeing basically the same thing (the cars going up the mountain)

deja
Very nice. Great job of editing and music sync. People think its shooting the video thats tough, its really the editing that make the video.
TravRMK
nice video. I liked the music, with the engine sounds here and there. Way to go!

toecutter
hehe-yer geez it looks so cheesy now, gotta watch it again one day. Goog find! ...the original trailer! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rOp27hdghY&NR=1 you gotta love that line in the trailer "...his only weapon, 600 horses of full injected machinery!" Clifton
Great video, like the music too. Nice that you cut the music a few times to hear just the engine.
Guest Stormcrow
Wow, that was pretty brilliant. With some work, this could definitely be a commercial or something. The engine noise could have been aligned a bit better with the cars, probably would have been good to hear two separate engine notes, but overall, it was very entertaining and I only wish I could do something this fun.
