CamH
Well, I bought one, but won't be running it in my car until June when I swap in my new L28. It sure looks pretty, though.
Tony D
Hmmmmmmmm.... I wonder how that happened? (He rhetorically asked, knowingly...)
jeffer949
Its not stainless. so there is your start in price savings.

cockerstar
Looks like it will flow much better than the stock one. The 90*s straight from the get-go isn't what I'd classify as ideal Tony, why are they 66% off?
steveosupremeo
the original was 100% stainless, as Jeffer stated above. IIRC it was 304 and you could get it polished, plain, or wrapped. personally I have $100 in my stainless downpipe, just ordered the parts and gearheadstik welded. GrayZee
for that price you can't go wrong.
boardkid280z
for that price you can't go wrong. Unless it justs rusts because it's not stainless. The downpipes we make for 944 Turbos are all stainless. Although, if you get it coated (thermal coating, jet hot, titanium, whatever) it should rust about as much as a stainless item, and the coating will help with heat dissipation in the engine bay. junglist
Its a shame its not 3". If it was I'd buy one and just knock the flange off to put a new flange on it that would fit my turbo and probably have it coated.
GrayZee
a mild steel pipe should still last for a few years... If you guys want a stainless 3" one, I can sell you all the parts to make one (flange, bends, 2.5 to 3" reducer and some straight pipe..) but it will cost you more than $100 that's for sure. rvandivort
Build your own--with help from your friends. Go to the local autozone...or others. They have stuff to do it. Schucks in My case. Buy the cheap welder and learn how to do it. Learning is what it`s all about on this site.
