hoov100
thats not uncommon for cheap rural postal vehicles, as buying an actual RHD jeep from the dealer can be a little expensive at times. do a search on RHD jeep conversion kit and you will see what i mean. Beau M
That is rad. Anyone got a spare pully I can borrow?
blue72
I think it must be a kit you buy to perform this conversion because I've seen this exact same setup on other vehicles.

josh817
I'm asking... why? Why convert over like that?
Vintage
To deliver mail. These are very common here, and are perfectly acceptable in a mail car.
m4xwellmurd3r
yep, because you drive on the right side of the road, and the mail boxes are on the right. also, if you have to stop on the road and walk to the door, it's also safer.
kiwi303
same reason we have LHD rubbish and recycling trucks, through those tend to be stand-to-drive ones with throttle and all by hand rather than foot.
Trevor
Quick steering kit!
big-phil
I delivered mail for 10 years. You must have a RHD vehicle. Sucks in drive thu's for lunch though:mrgreen:
hogie
IT would be fine at a Rallys though. Drive through on both sides of the building.
bschiltz
I've seen mail carriers in rural Nebraska that just sit on the right side of a bench seat and drive/ steer with there left foot and hand. That's scary.
Chaparral2f
It doesnt surprise me that this was done by a woman... Before you say that, maybe you should check out Chelle's RHD conversion.
josh817
Oh... Here in Keller we just have mail trucks.. >_> Not Scions or cars that have been converted. Thats just here though, I understand now.
Tony D
Not scary in the least bit to me. It's a mail carrier's vehicle, and anything done in that conversion can easily be undone. If the price is right... Personally, I'd go for the Jeep with the CNG engine since I can fill 5 miles from my house, and they go about 250 miles on a fillup. Perfect! 260DET
Theres a business for someone in the US, import RHD light commercial vehicles for mail runs. New or used, latter may be good from Japan.
