mark
I've got a meeting tonight with a guy that just bought a GT3. Not the RS but I'll try my best to pry the keys out of his hands!
Mikelly
Mines at the shop getting a full tranns rebuild, to include some cupcar syncros, and the case is getting tapped for trans cooler/heat exchanger. Every time I drive mine, I'm reminded why the Zcar still sits in parts. There simply is no replacement. Mike

Zardilla
hmmm - maybe the sale of my rb240z could be the downpayment on one of these
JSM
I don't care for the added wing? Looks to ricer to me and takes away from the lines of the car. I'm sure it adds LOTS of down force though.
X64v
There's an ('07, '08?) GT3RS I see parked at a local El Charro downtown quite often. Pure sex. I will have one one day. And I personally love the wing, I think it looks great.
MAG58
It could have 4 wings on it and I'd still want it. Listen to that roar!
jt1
The GT3's are double-drop-dead-awesome cars. They offer stunning performance in probably the best balanced package on the market. However, the red wheels, mirrors, stripes, etc, just don't do it for me. Kind of gives it a garish appearance IMO. The car, however, is amazing. jt

Hey, we are allowed to dream But lets put it this way, I have no doubt that a properly prepared turbo 370Z would be at the performance level where driver capability is the deciding factor. johnc
Considering you're spending $132K on the GT3RS you would probably be better off starting with the Nissan GT-R to get to the level of the Porsche.
Mikelly
Actually, If we could talk seriously about Porsches and the market for a second... Anyone, and I mean ANYONE serious about buying something like this level of performance right now should seriously do a little research. 2004-2005 GT3s are a super bargain right now, and I've had reports from my mechanic of them selling in the LOW $40s. This was a $120K car out the door in 2005. This level of performance, fit, finish and mechanical sophistication can not be had for less...How fast? Jim McNemar and others were turning 2:03s on VIR full with leather interior, CD changers, power accessories, A/C and other "creature" comforts with these cars. And those of you who have dreamed about 911 cup cars? Race packages are going for $65-90K depending on how "fresh" you want it, and how many spares are included. If I could move my 996TT right now, I'd have already moved on two different cupcar packages, but what can I say... Mike
260DET
Considering you're spending $132K on the GT3RS you would probably be better off starting with the Nissan GT-R to get to the level of the Porsche. Too easy with the R35, they are #1 in the tarmac rallys now stock standard including tyres. Besides RWD for the fun and challenge, I see too many AWDs crashing due to people thinking its them, not the car, which has the ability. Porsche is a better looking car than the 370Z with its exaggerated styling though.
Mayolives
The GtRS cars are in a class all by themselves but I can only dream and watch them pass by with someone else in the drivers seat. There's always the lottery but the adds are very long.
mark
The GT 3 was a no show at my meeting. To bad for me
