MAG58
Awesome....do they take PayPal? I feel that the things that could be bartered would be along the lines of: Trust funds Retirement funds 401k's Houses First Born Children Dog No less than two separate appendages Your eternal soul etc. etc.
hoov100
I think the actual price was around $8k or so. What i would want from them, would be molds, blueprints and specs.
evil_datto
I'd sell myself for that. I'd do ANYTHING for that head, they can take my car. I wouldn't have a car to use the head on anymore, but I would be able to stare at the head all day long.
FlatBlack
So I'm sitting here drooling at my laptop and wondering, "mmm I wonder what it sounds like." Then I remember it's 2009 and we have the internet. Here's a video with the TC24-B1 OS Giken Head with Tripples. Oh my.
jc052685
OK, so Giken dude at the booth said only 9 were ever produced and only 8 were for sale. This Head was taken from the owners car in Japan just for SEMA. It cam off a running car. Apparently this head alomost bankrupt OsGiken. They were MSRP'd at $10,xxx
cygnusx1
If I had one, I would sell it and build a $10,000 Z. It is legend though.
proxlamus©
um.. cool head.. but seriously guys?! Just buy a damn RB or 2JZ for the money. Your talking about putting a DOHC cam on a nearly 40 year old engine design.. its not going to make that much of a difference

The sell the entire engine for something north of $100,000. It never actually was in "production" but it has always been available to those who had the money. There just isn't a market for this except for a few collectors in Japan.

Your talking about putting a DOHC cam on a nearly 40 year old engine design.. its not going to make that much of a difference Tell that to 1fastZ lol. That engine of his is insane Here is the L31dett on the dyno, with some sort of weird spark miss, and also, we ran out of time and didnt get the AFR dialed in or even messed with the spark yet. This is 17 lbs of boost, and made 478 HPThat's a LOT of hp on a rough tune.
hoov100
Tell that to 1fastZ lol. That engine of his is insane That's a LOT of hp on a rough tune. He also has an entire built engine to go with that head as well, as 17psi of boost.
