jc052685
After viewng the "fastest street driven" thread I really think us L guys should have our own little show off thread. So many people over look these little beastly motors and the potential they have. I am thinking set up a list of the fasted L-powered Z cars. You may be asked to prove you times with both a scan of your timeslip AND a link to a video of the pass. 11.50s and faster require proof. Example.... JohnDoe -------70 240z--------5spd----------N/A-----------14.5@90mph ^user name------^car--------^tranny-------^induction-----^time And this is all you should post. No comments or questions. Make your own thread or PM the specific user if you have a question about their build. So who is first up? ..... FlatBlack
Got a link to vids and times for those? Ah... no video, just a slip for that rubbish 15.7 haha. I have a video of me leaving the line but not the time board. I can delete my post if you want, on re-reading the OP I just realized I'm cluttering up the thread

FlatBlack
Might I suggest putting the date of the run? I had a much different setup in May when I ran at the track. My 15.712 run was in May 2009. I had a L28E stock ECU, street tires, open diff. I will be running at the track Spring 2010 with L28E>T, MS, [drag tires?] and an LSD. I don't really think I should even be on the list though haha [12s or faster is what I consider 'fast']
MAG58
I will be running at the track Spring 2010 with L28E>T, MS, [drag tires?] and an LSD. Will you find an LSD by then? My L series Z will go as fast as I can push it! So take whatever time a pruis does it in and add a tenth.
FlatBlack
Will you find an LSD by then? I've been on a mission... from god... ever since I let that 88T diff get away I hope to have an LSD installed by February to have it broken in for Branson Z Fest 2010

TrumpetRhapsody
+1 for adding a date. Trumpetrhapsody -------74 260z--------240sx 5spd----------N/A-----------15.196@89.73mph ---- 5/29/09 I was the left lane every time on the scan, and Flatblack280 was in the right lane every time. Between this being my first time drag racing, and the fact that my clutch was eating itself alive, my RT's and 60ft times were horrid. jc052685
If you want to include the date you ran the time that is fine but I dont think a BEST OF's list needs the date it happened. Just need the raw data to know who stands where. Also updated the first post!

Chris240zTurbo
Uh oh, time to get to the 1/4 mile track! I've run the 1/8 in 7.6 @ 98mph with a 1.76 60' and a bum transmission, but haven't made it out to the 1/4 mile track in forever. Times a wastin! thread or at least times would make a good sticky, I'd suggest a photo of the timeslip or some kind of proof, like a video, to be included on an official list - and 60' times and 1/8 mile ET would be good info too. Do I have to make a "Big-Phil call out thread" or just take him to the track and whoop him? :burnout:
