rturbo 930
wow...if that's real carbon fiber then DAMN!Looks like the fenders, bumpers, hood, and air dam is real CF, and the rest is vinyl.
Administrators RTz Posted June 3, 2010 Administrators Share Posted June 3, 2010 I'm not getting excited until someone builds the structure from CF.
inZane 240
The bolt on parts are CF. The panels are a new vinyl wrap by 3M called DI-NOC made to replicate the look of CF. Edited June 3, 2010 by inZane
e_racer1999
It'd be better if the DI-NOC matched better. IMO looks cheesy.

bryand2
No guys that is not the 3m Di-Noc cheap stuff that is real carbon fiber here is the article http://scene-media.com/blog/?p=
19762802+2
No guys that is not the 3m Di-Noc cheap stuff that is real carbon fiber here is the article http://scene-media.com/blog/?p=676 I claim BS look at this picture you can see what I am pretty sure to be metal with undercoating on it. Also the "carbon fiber" from the doors back has a different look from the front end. The fenders, air dam, hood and cowl are real carbon fiber but I bet the rest is a wrap. The body panels on the car may be real carbon fiber but I don't think the structure is. Edited June 11, 2010 by 19752802+
e_racer1999
^Agreed. Whoever told the guy that it was full carbon fiber got one over on him. I've seen enough DI-NOC to know the difference.
piston
Are you sure that's not carbon fiber undercoating?
