Dan Juday
Come on, look at that nose. It's a straight rip-off http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1965-AUSTIN-MINI-MIDAS-/250798544602?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3a64c216da
BluDestiny
I thought that was a CRX with a body kit at first glance.
mark
That is a Z31 front end. First they copy ferrari with the 240, then mini with the Z 31. Where did the 350Z come from?
datsun723
Ha, saw that thing over the weekend in person. Weird little car.
260DET
That Austin Midas is a kit car not a regular production model. Some quite advanced styling features for its day but that wedge shaped nose was one of the design types considered by Nissan back when the 280ZX on on the drawing board. Mass market cars rarely have advanced body design features, thats for the specialist manufacturers.

Tony D
SL2 Z31 It can't be coincidental that the point where Nissan got it right and came out with the Z32 the corporate Wonks at GM led by that paragon of forward thinking Roger B. Smith didn't go 'hey boys, that little jap company has something sexy in their sports car styling, let's incorporate it in this new 'how can we fool em today' enterprise names Saturn Motorcars!' Easy Does It
Not to offend anyone, but is it safe to say Z31 has been the worst looking Z ever?

Tony D
Oh gawd, dont say that at another site... Someone once said "Z31's Suck to Work On" and 279 posts in about 4 hours caused the thread to be deleted. Some of those owners have a real complex. Guys, it's a car...get over it! Easy Does It
Congratulations! you did it, I'm offended. I apologize, my friend. Perhaps it's not the Z, but everything that came out of the 80s in general just doesn't do it for me. The fashion, the music, the cars... Dan Juday
Not to offend anyone, but is it safe to say Z31 has been the worst looking Z ever? Compared to the lump of clay 350Z? Now I'm the offender! Tony, I don't see the Z31 in the Saturn. Maybe the Z32 headlights. but not the Z31. As far as the "Dust Buster" theme, I think you have to go back to the TR7. "The shape of things to come." How true was that marketing slogan?
zeause
any 2+2 looks worse than a coupe z31.
19762802+2
any 2+2 looks worse than a coupe z31. Oh really now? At least my car doesn't have "Flat hips" like the Coupes have compared to a 2+2.
