I wouldnt buy those because im not sure if anyone on here uses them and the fitment might be an issue. I would suggest the DAD racing seats because they are in the same price range of the ones you linked and guys on here like Forrest already have them in their Z and their is no fitment issue. jt1 is right, if you or anyone is going to get their headers coated, Calico Coatings in Denver, NC is awesome. A family of mine builds race cars and has used them for years with nothing but excellent work. Calico coated the inside of NC State's formula race car's engine too, awesome company

zxgtr, do a seller search on eBay for "UBendMan" he will make whatever you want in mandrels and is cheaper than any magazine. I have used him alot and so has my fathers company, no probs.

Just thought I would mention that anyone else plannin on doing something similar to what Bill is doing, there is another product out there called fatmat that is just as good if not better than dynamat. Plus its a whole lot cheaper, you get 100 sq ft shipped for $130.00 and that comes with a roller and some other install items.

The 280 doors are thicker or longer I think, something to meet to crash requirments those years

i have just heard it called a splash pan, someone on here made their own for cheap, but i have seen some on eBay go pretty high, over 100 bones

I wouldnt, some people have success with those though, It all depends on what you want, if you want that polished aluminum pipe then i guess so. I am going with just normal steel and I am having it power coated. There is a great seller on ebay, do a search on his seller name UBendMan, he can hook you up with mandrel bends that you will need in any size. The rest of the pipe you can probally just buy at a hardware or auto parts store in town. I got all my bends and pipe for like $50 total. And like I was saying all those intercoolers on ebay that are cheap and arent name brand are all the same, so whatever is cheapest i would go with. Some sellers on there mark them up real high

the fenders will swap but the 240 fenders are a little different. The 240 fenders will not have the holes tapped for the inner mud/splash guard that some 280z's have. That thing is junk anyways so trash it anyways. But the 240 fenders will work. And you are correct, 240 doors will not swap onto a 280z. Hope that helps

I actually got mine from a local shop here in town, but he sells them on eBay also. They are all the same thing, they come from asia and they are made from diesel truck cores that have ends tanks welded to them. Several people here in town have made over 400 hp with them.

looks like that one is gonna be a tight fit, i got a 22x12x3 for 205 shipped I think. I wasnt sure on the quality on these units but since someone like Stony is buying it then I know its good!

In Marcus's defense, I have been screwed probally more than most on this site when it comes to cars and car parts. His signature is just a way of venting, trust me I know how he is feeling as I lost 10k on a pick up truck, the anger never really goes away. Actually BransonZ, if you do some research you will see that only 1 in 10,000 ebay transactions goes bad. I used to run an eBay store and most people treat it like a real business. Anyways, what did you buy?

Larry is right, I had a Z and sold it for something I was dieing to have, a Jeep wrangler. Not only was it a huge headache and I lost lots of money on it, I was always kicking myself for selling my Z. Now that I have another one once it gets done im never selling it, i dont care if someone offers me twice what i have in it (well i might ) but anyways keep the Z man, trust me Larry is right you will kill yourself if you let it go.
