3 things wrong with doing a one wiper mod on a Z (all Zs). 1: the upper edge of the windshield is concave. Because of the shorter height length of the glass, it limits the length of the wiper you can use. 2: limits the amount of area wiped. 3: The degree at which the glass wraps around isn't constant. It increases towards the outer edges, it would cause the outer edge of the wiper to not be contact with the glass. Not really a big deal, but when combined with #2, it really limits your visibility.

Flush mount all the windows. change the door window pillar design to a solid door/pillar, or pillarless (like on the subarus). Flush mount the turn signals. Basically all the subtle things. I don't like stainless trim.

They are selling a special "tuner" version that is a couple thousand $ cheaper, with a lot of the accessories taken out. I don't think their terms of warranty will be as strict as some makes. Have you tried grinding down the butt joints so half of it are diagonal? Like -------/------- | ---------------- But more deeper on the grind. If you can't get it still. Try oxy/acc welding first. Its almost~~ the same as TIG, but just a different way to apply heat. BTW are welding steel or aluminum? You can weld aluminum with oxy/acc, but its a pita.

Wait... what? box? The speedo is mechanical and the only electrical connections on it are lights. I'm pretty sure that you can just replace the cable with a GM one with little modification. My dad had a spare GM cable from way back when he had his chevy K20. Speedo side fits, but the tranny side needs to have the proper key fitted on.

I think the holes aren't true. Does the wheel fit onto the hub loosely or does it seem like its binding on something? Might take it to a wheel shop and have them check the pattern.
