  1. I believe that you just need to run one more line if you want to reuse the 240z lines. Then you have the surge tank thing that goes behind the rear passenger wheel well
  2. I'me sure that you have to swap the half shafts too.
  3. I didn't like that either, but if you think about it, it comes out to be a reasonable price difference. LSD usually cost $2k new and then you have the suspension package. and the 2.0T track model is $25k IIRC. The thing that I don't like is that they used the same engine designation as the EVOX. They are similar, but not the same and from what I've read, have inferior parts from the Mistu version. The Hyundai version doesn't have forged pistons, unlike the EVO and some review confirm that most of the "good" parts aren't interchangeable. I just wonder if you can longitudinally mount an EXO engine with the Hyundai transmission .
  4. Need a KA24 bell housing to complete my drivetrain.
  5. GS300 was fwd. The IS300 was awd or rwd iirc.
  6. don't know what the caking is, but I think its the coil, the strut is more for rebound than ride height. The cracking could be your sway bar
  7. One thing to ask. Does the "Talking lady in the car" work? And I don't mean like its on PMS saying the door is open every 15 mins
  8. The MSRP on the base model is $22k The Premium Track model with the most expensive transmission is only $31 MSRP. I would say thats a steal, with it coming with traction control and stability control as standard
  9. I've been following this car for a while. I went to the site when it first went on sale. I was o_O when I saw everything that came standard. I just might consider buying one when the time comes, but I think I'll wait until the 2010 model comes out, unless my impatience get the better of me . I would be satisfied with just getting the 4 pot turbo (base model)
  10. Aren't GS front wheel drive? That pic looks similar to the skyline awd layout. I don't think doing a AWD setup is all that difficult, just MORE work, as far as the front is concerned. The rear, you need to have the same gearing so that the front and rear gear ratios are the same. So... The easier solution is to also swap the rear.
  11. Pic of last October
  12. expect to crash twice
  13. Just for conversation sake, Any one thought of swapping a S2000 engine into a Z?
  14. Yes, brakes, MAF with pigtail, turbo, injectors, front hubs...
  15. I have one. But I have to figure out which one is which between a 77 and 78
  16. I have one too with a compressor, but I don't think you would like to ship from Alaska
  17. isn't there a turbo kit thats setup kinda like that for a vette? Not in the muffler, but the turbos setup in the rear of the car.
  18. Thats "confirmation" not tracking. but its better than not having it, then you can tellthat the seller actually sent it:p
  19. lessoned learned... ALWAYS GET TRACKING. It won't be shipped any faster, but you can see where its been.
  20. the golf W12 was build it 6 weeks (by VW) with the same engine in the Bentley doing it independently, its the same as if you were doing it to a civic or any other FWD car. its been done
