  1. Th N47 steel inserts restrick exhaust flow. I have read that removing them will cause turbulance also restricking exhaust flow and that boring out the seats for the inserts is recommended.
  2. I made some drawings of my own but I don't have a scanner:(
  3. Wow, I'm surprised how much it looks like a porsche fro the back with out the bumper.
  4. IMO the area behind the rear wheels seem a tad off. Looks like that area needs to be a little lower. Just trying to give some creative criticism.
  5. You have to remove the seal that surrounds the frame then there are 4x screws on the upper and lower parts towards the section that meets the door. the section that meets the door has a strip of metal and rubber, I don't recall having to have to remove that part. the part that its attached to is what needs to be removed. Once the screws are out that piece should pull out but you have to use force.
  6. Looks like a cros between a 240zg and a normal 240z. I like it.
  7. Wow, freakin bright lol. I hope my yamaha R6 headlights are going to be that bright. (hint hint)
  8. I agree. that edge will hold dirt. Dirt holds moisture->moisure leads to ->rust. not a good thing.
  9. I just skimmed over the thread and I don't kno wif this has been talked about but this might be of some use. I found a site that sells universal adjustable speedo sender. Don't know if it will work but worth looking into. I believe they have ones for fords also, heres the link http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/programmable_electric_speedo_senders/5291/
  10. I say get higher flowing injectors than what you need, then you can lower fuels presure and/or adjust injection duration.
  11. What do you mean by welsh plugs? I think I'm getting it mixed up with spark plugs.
  12. I think he mean both bumpers. Well half of his question was answered lol.
  13. That looks nice. Even looks better than the factory one IMO.
  14. I figured it would prbably be somthing wiht the carbs but didn't want to give any bad advice since I have never messed with SU carbs before.
  15. I thought that with having the dizzy 180 out, it won't even start. the dizzy won't even fit properly with the dizzy "shaft" 180ed. only way would be to from putting the plug wires in the wrong order, you can't even put the cap on backwards (rotated 180).
  16. Then I think its that broken exhaust stud you mentioned earllier. I haven't had a opportunity to try to get one out of a alluminum head before so I don't know how to get one out. I'm sure someone will post or link how to.
  17. Don't know the carb setup to well but with experiences with my 280, advance it forward until its starts stumble, from there back the advance a degree or so and then ajust by the throttle body. Don't know if this will help
  18. Nice. It looks like you rolled the edge of the door a little bit. I love the subtle touches
  19. As stated I wrote corrosion "resistence," not corrosion proof.
  20. Law is different in every state/country.
  21. Well the paint job is technically illegal because of distracting of other drivers. Its the same way that neon lights (I hate those) under cars is illegal. You won't get pulled over just for that but, when you do get pulled over for something else they will add it to the fine. As for laser and radar, It will actually make you more visible to speed detection. Laser speed detection isn't really a laser but it is a more narrowly focused ranged stream of light. With radar, you have to have paint that would absorb and dampen radio waves.
  22. Lol yeah. But I'm to impatient, paint eventually runs lol.
