My KYB GR2 front strut cartidges from a VW Jetta that I use in my 2 inch sectioned 280 Z strut tubes have a longer stroke shaft but shorter tube cartridge body than the KYB GR2 stock front 280 Z cartridges................. Sounds to me that mating head surfaces are not flat or either time to piss off on Felpro. Go OEM or Arizona Z offerings.. flat edge triple X quadruple check mating surfaces. ... times like these my confidence level drops.....dust your self off...(blame Mike) and try again.

Sell em or get some tires quickI have cross lace 15 X 8 inch Daytons with real knockoffs hubs and adapters that sold for $400.00 a piece for my GTO project..I really doubt they are worth $100.00 a piece now.......the project has taken so long that big wide 15 inch tires are about obselete. You might have to wait 20 years for the fat wides to come back in style. Your wires appear to be 4 lug.
