  1. Im sure once they finalize it, they will make it available All we know at this point is that it was just a computer rendering like how most Rocket Bunny kits start out as until they produce a demo car with the kit.
  2. they are a bit oldschool now imo. Been out for a few years. They use megan racing coilovers as the base . imo there are better options now. bcracing and stance coilovers.
  3. rocket bunny kits are generally purchasable. Hopefully it doesn't fall into the hands of knock off companies though, keep it exclusive and original. (and generally support the original designer).
  4. Soo not true imo.. you dont see many Zs in north america sitting on authentic watanabes, good quality fender flares, or authentic fender mirrors.. at least my opinion. But im bias cuz I got those for my Z =)
  5. Too bad they arent multi piece. Great looking wheels for sure. Very oldschool japanese. Good thing about enkei is they aren't a knock off like Rota.
  6. Nice! I have the earlier set of the t3 tie rod ends, and when i called up azc about their knuckles, they suggested not getting them due to enlarging the hole might weaken them. Do you think that would be an issue? I wanted them for the steering angle.
  7. dammm. and they are polished too. I just got my set (paid $1790) after 3 months wait. 15x9.5 -19 front and 15x10.5 -32 rear. I only recieved the 15x10.5 soo far, waiting on the fronts. Replacing my ataras (already sold). Watanabes aren't that much more $$ compared to the price i paid for the Ataras. I like stretched tire look, but the problem in the US is finding wider tires than the typical 225/50 or 235/50 without spending like about $200 a piece. VitaminZ what size are those R888s? that might be my next tire. Right now i got hankook ventus rs3 195/50 (or 205) and 225/45 i think. Next time i will go a little wider with the R888s.
  8. I take it that you are trying to get a discount if you can get a few people in on this lol
  9. Looking good!! Surprisingly it looks alot better than the zforce gnose it had.
  10. as long as you stay authentic, you should have no issues with any vendor. I got my long stalk originals on ebay. I powder coated them since they had old paint and surface rust. Aftermarket looks terrible imo.
  11. was fairly easy to find, turns out it was the choke cable switch wires shorting out. So far i got the oil pressure and temp gauge working. No tach yet or amp/fuel level.. I wonder if i should swap to a 280z tach to work with the zx distributor.
  12. i did not want to deal with adapters so i ordered brake lines from silvermine, just tell them what calipers you are using http://www.silverminemotors.com/datsun/datsun-280z/brake-kit-individual-parts/steel-braided-lines
  13. im out of town right now, but im thinking i might as well pull the dash out to repair, and maybe get a better look at the wiring. perhaps i can route new wiring from the fuse. I am assuming it to be the green wire from the fuse box.
  14. i realize i keep burning out the Flasher Luz Interm fuse. I was able to get a new fuse in there to see the oil pressure gauge come up, but then the fuse burned out. With new fuse, the choke light is on, but if i turn turn the choke a few times, it burns out the fuse.
  15. Ok guys, early 74 260z.. just got her started and fired up after years of slumber from prior owner. (replaced head gasket, wired up electric fuel pump with its own relay from battery and oil pressure switch, z31 alternator with external voltage regulator removed, zx distributor, maxi fuses in place of fusable links).. I used this guide for the zx distributor install btw. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/104933-1974-260z-with-e12-80-280zx-distributor-swap-wiring-with-tach-hook-up/ I unplugged the transistor ignition ign unit per instructions. I got the seatbelt interlock removed. But i am stumped why the gauges do not work. I am a newbe at looking at the fsm wiring diagram. Any suggestions ? My buddy who also has a 260z just decided to go all speedhut gauges as he also couldnt get his gauges to work. 260 is a freaking oddball.
  16. Im wondering where I can find that 90 degree fitting locally. Would prefer not going with a hardware store part with the multiple barb grips .
  17. found this pic online, i guess i can put a 90 degree elbow on it just to give me more piece of mine lol http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l62/injected99/FuelPump.jpg I was just unsure weather the 90 degree bend would affect flow as opposed to a curving hose.
  18. Hey guys, i just wanted an opinion on my mounting location. I cut the original pump bracket (early 260z), and mounted the pump here for now, but was just curious on the fuel hose routing.. if it was ok to have the hose wrap around that far out towards the wheel. Or should I try to mount it more towards the center? Suggestions and advice appreciated. Thanks!
  19. Will their rear add on piece fit the rear cusco bar?
  20. My pics probably suck I know, but what I did was look at all my favorite JDM Z cars with flares on and compare them. My flares are marugen shoukai, so the good fitment made it a little easier, just matched up to where it fit the best. I think the front of your flare looks good. The rear portion was the tricky part, as there is no body crease to rest it on. What I did was look at that rear bottom rivet point, match it to around the bottom of the rear bumper area.
  21. There will always be guys who swear bolt-ons don't do much compared to custom fabricated/welded on parts. Of course if you are looking for serious performance on a production car, you are going to want to fabricate/weld stuff and go all out track car . But for a moderate street/light track car, bolt-on should be improvement.
  22. This should work too https://www.turtlewax.com/shop/products/turtle-wax-renew-rx-label-sticker-remover-10-oz-net-wt
