  12. I was running a Comp Cams 292H. About 4 mos. ago on the way back from our first Bay Area Hybrid Z get together, I hear a ticking noise from the engine. As I get closer to my house it gets worse and then starts running like sh%*. To make a long story short, the cam had a flat lobe on #3 cyl. I now am using a Wolverine Blue Racer hydralic and everything is back to normal. Mike D.

    rear end gear

According to my info it would be a 3.90:1. The ring gear will be stamped 39:10. It is always a good idea to check as rear ends do get swapped out from time to time. Mike D.
  14. I had mine off a couple of weeks ago to change a flat cam, and it came right off. I had to remove the starter and drop the exhaust, but other than that it was very simple. As far as chrome oil pans, I would stay away, because they usually are a thinner gauge metal and always leak. Mike D.
  15. Krugs sandblasting near the Oakland Coliseium or Hunter's sandblasting in San Leandro will do it for you. Mike D.

  20. I have made two pair of caliper brackets on my cnc machine out of 4140 steel. One pair is on my car, and alsil has a pair on his car. They are copies of the Maxima brackets. If someone is in dire need, I would be able to make them. They would use 82-83 calipers and rotors. I am not in the aftermarket buisness and only make these to help fellow Zer's. It would cost about $75.00 a pair. Mike D.

  22. Be sure that the bleeder valves on the calipers are on the top. It will make a difference when you are bleeding them. Mike D.
