Sorry , think you are crazy if you are thinking of doing such swap . I wouldn't consider do any european motors in any cars . Think they all junks . Have been working on cars , in an auto shop , for over 20 yrs .
That's poss. . With the way it acts i'd hook a gauge to check fuel press. while driving . My ZX pump has a screen on the inlet side . Check to see if it's clogged .
I looked at an 83 , didn't see any relay . You have to put one in if you want , it's better to have one . Less load on the switch . I added a Ford starter solenoid to my 83 when i did the LS1 swap . Good luck .
Check wiring diag. . Look at park/neutral safety switch . Jump input signal from ign. switch to output signal at safety switch .
I think it would be better if you run a new wire from ign. switch to the start . This sys. involves inhibitor relay . Preffered adding a starter relay , this will make ign. switch lasts longer .
Remove ign. switch from lock cylinder and turn it with a screw driver to see if you get any power to starter signal . Poss. the lock cylinder is bad and it's not turning far enough to engage starter position . Good luck .
I'm thinking about getting new wheels for my 78 Z . Just wondered if anyone's running Rota RKR 17x8.5 +10 ( Ad on Ebay by Wheelbay ) . Do they require spacers ? If so , what size ? Pictures would be nice . Thanks .
