  1. I would check wiring harness and connectors on the pass side of the console all to the floor board , remove the plastic cover . I had problem with my headlights and found corrosion in the connectors and some wires were corroded so bad that they were 1 or 2 trands left . Test by pulling on the wire , if it's bad you can see the insulation starts to stretch .
  2. I'm doing LS1 swap at this time , just wondered what size to use for speedo and tach ?
  3. I'd go with brass , more corrosion resistance .

  5. The haz. switch has be plugged in . Get a new switch first then recheck .
  6. I see what you are saying . Did my T-belt and all seals on my Z32 last year , Can't remember which way it clocks .
  7. I don't have any pic. . I would install the cam sprockets then line them up with markings on the back plate .
  8. Check your green/blue wire at haz. switch to see if you have 12v. ( hot all time ) .
  9. Don't know much about the RB swap . I would wire the CEL hot when key on . Disconnect fuel pump relay to see the draw goes away or down . Good luck .
  10. Does the drain go away if you remove power from your add-on fuse box ? I like to use low amp probe when i check for battery draw . Max 50mA is acceptable . Some cars allow up tp 75 mA .
  11. The trans. does look big . All it takes is a BFH to make it fit . LOL . The oil pan could be a problem . Would love see you make it work . Good power out put . But parts are not cheap .
  12. I would check to see if you have 12v to your ign. sys. when problem occurs . Just to make sure it's not your ign. switch . Good luck .
  13. Can you post pic of your add-ons ( fuse box ) ? Have you tried removing fusible links , if you still have them ?
  14. They are above your hood release cable . The one that's closer to your cable is your turn signal flasher .

  16. I apologize for using the word CRAZY . Just trying to warn you about your choice of motor . We have done a lot of injection pumps , they run about $1500 plus . They do have a lot of other problems . Do you search .
  17. Sorry to hear that . No , panels are not the same . Maybe the door is the same . Quarter and fender are different .
  18. Our shop do a lot VW . Think they are junks . Too many plastic parts , which failed as soon as war. expired . Poor electrical sys. , cooling sys. ? What a joke . Paying too much and getting too little . And parts are way high and take too long to get . You can buy dom and import ( Jap. ) parts all day long at your local store for way cheaper . That's just my opions about european cars , wouldn't never own one . They do put food on my table . LOL
