  1. Looks like you have a solid foundation to work with . Good luck with your project and post tons of pictures , people love pictures . .
  2. Better find a way to get it hooked up or my stock Z will leave it in the dust .
  3. They are 3 different flanges , I think . Check out JTR site . I was unable to paste the link .
  4. Dave , LOL . Bet your arms are tired . . And I work 5 days week at my shop , for a pay check , and the other 2 days , on my toys , for free . It gets old quick . But at least I have a shop to work on my toys , can't b*tch much . I do feel for all you guys who have to do all your work in a home garage w/o a lift .
  5. Agree . Larger and clearer pics. , please . Good luck with your project .
  6. Use a full GM driveshaft w adapter . Datsun u-joint ( way too small ) is very weak , especially with a T56 , it will break . What about your haft shafts , stock ?
  7. If you are using a full GM driveshaft , you're going to need a JTR/JCI adapter and , maybe , a hybrid U-joint , depends on your driveshaft .
  8. Thanks guys . Now I have to decide what to do with the back-up lights . Will be using LEDs , of course , but not sure which mode to use when on . My LED dimmer modules can also do 4 or 5 different modes of controlling flashes , or just leave them on when activated .
  9. I am using SMD335 LEDs . And almost everything is " Made in China " . Why pay more here when you can get for way much cheaper from China , takes a little longer to get it .
  10. Test as stated in the above but also check at the alternator output/charging wire too .
  11. Texis300 , you can do this yourself , it's not hard at all , except for the soldering part . You can do this yourself for less than $50 w/o sequential modules . Mine cost a little more , around $100 , because I went a little crazy with my design . . I'm looking for a cheap set of tail lights for a different design .
  12. Here's a mess that i have to deal with . Got a little carry away with this LED tail light project . . Cleaned up a little . This is what i used to reinstall the lenses . It works great . Easy to use and will not hardened up , stays tacky .
  13. No . Light doesn't come through well behind the reflector because it's a reflector . . Any problem with my VDO ?
  14. Sounds like a fan clutch problem . Normally , you don't need the fan above 25 mph . Look at your fan at idle with high engine temp. and should feel heat coming through .
  15. Anyone else having problem with the VDO ? I was not able to paste earlier . Had to change my browser to Google Chrome , it's fine on my end .
