  1. Just a word of caution on the 134A Owen, make sure you replace all the O-rings with the Silicone O-rings (basically rubber rings dipped in blue silicone) then fill 80% capacity only of original specs.(83% in my case) otherwise overfilling it would actually make it warmer. By the way i've used Freeze 12 and it is only a couple of degrees warmer. I used this kit from E-bay on a guess-timate basis using the stop leak, lube and only two cans of Freeze 12 on an 87 Acura Legend. With the temps in the high 90's the A/C did pretty good and still has Freeze 12 in it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7912492060&category=46094
  2. Sweet!!! Snap, snap! Unique Snap, snap!
  3. I came from a country where we have total gun control and the only people who have firearms are the cops and the military. Guess what? The bad guys ARE the military and the cops!!! The only ones who have guns in my country are the military the cops and rich influencial people who usually became rich they ARE the criminals. Id like to say this is just my 2 cents but it was stolen by the other guys because all i had was a butterfly knife against fully automatic machine gun pointed to my head.

  6. 78 Z in CHiPS getting into a fender bender. The Incredible Hulk ( the old one) lots of cameos
  7. Isn't this gonna make the car a little to stiff and sensitive to vibration?
  8. That 30 year car seat smell?
  9. A few members bought the movie from Owen, you might wanna ask him if he still sells them. He's the one with the site you posted http://www.v8zcar.com/s30z/wangan.htm pm him if he still has copies for sale.
  10. Amen Brutha!! What they said and unfortunately because people are like sheep who are now herded to SUV's, sports cars gave way to sports sedans which gave way to sports trucks and SUV's.
  11. I had a feeling Dodge would push the Magnum for police duty because of the new RWD platform but a high output 6Cyl. ? Im curious to see how the new V-8 cyclinder deactivation would do even with the new technology. Somehow everyone remembers the old 8-6-4 in Cadillac.
  12. Try a remote starter, you know the ones professionals use when they want to bump the motor or use a screwdriver. If it starts on the same battery without the quick charger, then it probably is the ignition switch.
  13. I have never heard my 75 Z prime the pump on the "on" position, i usually hook power directly to the pump when it has sat long for a couple of months or years, just to run fuel thru the system. It usually cranks up right away especially after it has been running, but let's say after a couple of days of just sitting around not running, it takes about two to three cranks before firing up, but the pump never makes noise when just left on the "on" position.
  14. When your connecting the quick charger are you connecting ground to the battery or body ground? Check the battery independently, you may have a defective battery. I've had it happen to me to where i get the voltage but the cranking amps were not there. Turns out to be defective cell.
  15. I had mine on an on an 82 ZX smoked and believe it or not even passed inspection with it till i sold it in 88, i hardly ever used it when dark. The whole inspection process is a joke in Texas. One station is stricter than the other. If only there were less boneheads on the roads lacking common sense to figure out that bald tires are dangerous or to even check out park lights once in a while, i would petition to have it removed .
  16. legal only during the day but you have to remove them when your headlights are in use.
  17. A couple of years ago a we had the same exact size hail falling in the DFW area and a guy ran out to move his car from open air parking to under some sort of carport. Well, he got hit with the same baseball size hail on the head and died. When it's your time, it's your time.
  18. Well, it wont say "Theft Recovery" on the title the only stigma you will have is having the honor of having a reassigned VIN by DPS.
  19. If Texas DPS is going to give you a reassigned VIN they will stick it on the driver side door jam near the plate of your original one. I dont think the title will be assigned as salvage, but i think you may have to say "Theft Recovery?" good luck.
  20. Dont we have two Lone's here? As far as member numbers go i used to be member #12 then #18 now im two stars and out of competion for Star Search.
  21. Phantom's right, they just check your VIN to see if matches the insurance form. If you bought an out of state car and have the unfortunate luck of going to a DPS station (which i have never seen) they might confiscate it if it is reported stolen. Case in point, a couple i know bought a truck that originated from Louisiana, after checking the VIN they found out that the engine is out of a stolen RAM and confiscated the whole truck and returned it to them after removing the engine. But they never did explain to me how a DPS trooper was doing the inspection or how it got that far. Usually you can go to some corner dirtbag inspection station and they usually just wanna make sure your horn and brakes work.
