That's not so bad compare to the AutoZone counter person insisting that i only needed four spark plugs instead of six for my 75 280Z. The manager who i knew was smiling and laughing at AZCP until i told him to look outside and see if i only had four cylinders and if it had six cylinders i get the plugs free. Finally Manger Friend told AZCP that i really used six because that's a real sports car not like his Mexican CRX ( it was an Si model, get it? "Si senior")

yeah, i saw the 240SX so called transformation. It's about as informative as those videos the army used to show on "duck and cover" when there is a nuclear bomb going off. The worst part of the show was the guy with the foulest mouth saying"were going to get big flairs and a JDM kit for this" The only thing ive seen this guy do is install wheels and tires on the first episode and trial fit the JDM fenders on the second episode. The paint shop did most of the work and they only showed it installed already. Kinda of a lame show.

While you guys are on the dog subject an old friend of mine passed away in his sleep last Friday and had an old Chihuahua. When the family didnt hear from him they alerted the authorities which alerted the Fire Department who started to break down the door. Unfortunately the dog got scared of all the people and the noise and had a stroke and died two days later from the stress. At least both of them are together now.

I dont think you have emissions testing down in Yorktown, YET. But in the DFW area and maybe Houston i think it's any vehicle 2-24 years old gets the emissions test. 96 and up gets it's OBDII computer checked to see if any codes are tripped and 95 and below gets on the two speed dyno test. So now if you own a 79 and below vehicle, you only need a safety sticker.

Hey datsunlover, just get the RX7 back, it's your first love, it's faith that it found you again and you just seem to want everybody here to tell you to get it, so GET IT! You have'nt become attached to the Z yet, your only sore about the Z because of the money. You can always earn more money, you cant earn the same RX7 that you had blood sweat and tears on it. So just get the RX7 sell the Z to another member here and just suck it up and earn more money that you lost on the Z and live with your first love the RX7. 8)

Well i hate to say this but there are always a lot of boneheads who are going to wreck enough C6 Vettes to make the LS2 a cheaper option.

So the new C6 Corvette has an LS2 as the power plant, 400 hp i think plus the same mountings as the LS1. So who's gonna be first? 8)

I thought Corvette owners always described their cars as "Vettes" or the whole "ZO6" or ZR1" not Z. Even camaro owners i know say "Z28" or "IROC" or "IROCZ" rarely do i hear just Z. I did hear a lot of Lumina owners try to covet the "Z" name for their Z34 Luminas. Of course i did notice a slight drop in the "Vette" usage from 80-86 because the "che-Vette" owners started to say "Vette" too.
