Most of the hard work is done already and all you need to do is buy the JTR kit and set the motor back and maybe do some suspension work. I'm with Mikelly it doesnt look like a JTR conversion, just make sure of the rust situation and overall car condition. But it looks pretty clean, it's a good start for the money.

They have a passion for the stock Z and you here have a passion for the hybrid, hence where there are two different sites...we all love the Z car but just like different things done to it. This site it the place this all started by daring him to post on classiczcars! Please don't let this site become like zcar.com, nothing but a bunch of children with nothing better to do than start dodo with other members and other sites. I like this site, and I also like classiczcar. I like the stock Z but certainly appreciate a well done conversion (I'd love to have an RB converted Z but too expensive for me right now). Sorry! I meant it in a complimentary way. I was getting rid of some old VHS tapes and ran into some old "Power Ranger" shows i taped for my nephew and it just dawned on me that the taillights looked like eyes, the diffuser a mouth and the exhaust ports as dimples. We had an 82 ZX and it wasnt that hard to put an aftermarket stereo in it including the speaker wires that we put in it. We had purchased most of our stuff from crutchfield back in the early 90's and they even provided me with the wiring diagram of the stock system and a faceplate. I dont know if they provide the plate now. We even replaced the stock antenna with a fully automatic one from Pep Boys for around $50.
