I'll try pulling it out to tell you. My tranny has the cable in the tail housing but also has the VSS sensor in the main body. I'll prob have to change the cogs anyhow to get the right speed indication.
In my opinon the best thing to do is get a camaro driveshaft that went to a 5 speed. Then take both to your driveline shop and have them make one good driveshaft for your car.
I like the idea of the door skins.
A few other nice things would be;
CF side mirrors
CF sugar scoops
Custom CF center consoles to accept extra switches and gauges
CF A-piller pod gauges that actually fit correctly
And of course CF dashs
Really doubt it.
Get some print outs of what it would cost for frame rails, floor pans, ect... and take it with you. It will help in the negotition part. If it has alot of rust and is not running it might be worth around $500 or less.
