  3. If every one is going to cut them why not just trim your mold? That way it will save plastic and take less time to get the parts ready.

  6. Yeah those scarabs are hard to find. I know a guy in Denver that has a low number scarab (at least he used to not sure if he still does). Now that was a super fun car to ride in.

  8. I have the spacers (supposed to be 3/8ths but are 1/2", if needed I can get them milled down real quick). These are not the big thick spacers that go between the little spacers and the engine mounts.
  9. hmmm ok, i would like to use the turbo half shafts, not the stub shafts.
  10. I have been searching and reading for about an hour now and my head is starting to spin with reading. It should be a simple question, I went to the JY and found a 87 turbo (3/87) so no lsd. I grabbed the halfshafts only to find out I can not use them in my Zed with out adapters. Is it possible to just pull the rear diff and swap it directly into mine (as in bolt-in)? If not I'll just try selling the halfshafts instead. Oh by the way my Zed is a 76 with the R200.
  11. 5 speed - look for a 88-92 World Class Borg Warner T-5 (Camaro/Trans Am) make sure comes from a V-8 car. 6-speed 93-??? look for a T56 from the same as above as well. There are the Vette trannies but they are a little different.

  13. Looks like a custom one off intake. I wonder on the schematics of it and if it flows any better than the stocker. Love hte fact that it says for the 260 even though that was Carb'd
  14. Painless makes a nice kit as well as EZ-wiring at half the price of the painless. I agree with hoov though if your new at wiring stay away.
  15. If you do all the prep work first then you can add the primer sealer. Plus the overall paint job should look nicer.
  16. I say powdercoat it (just not purple). Do something like the Datsun blue they have on the blocks and then polish the lettering.
  17. I saw this to late, I just sold my type 3 full kit for ($220). I'm not positive but I might also part with my bre spoiler.
  18. My type III was like that as well. I ended up just shaving the mounting points and was able to "snug" it up to the correct location. I would post some pics but I just sold my whole type 3 kit to get "go fast" parts for my baby.
  19. I just used what I had laying around, I believe it was the red high temp rtv. Now I have to come up with a new tail light setup since i ditched the Trans Am tails.
  20. I like that look of the mustang lights. I have also thought of using a 60's era couger lens.
