  1. I've seen them go from $20-$100 depending on condition and demand for such a part. I had one on my 79 years ago.
  2. I did this to my Zed as well. All I did was use some left over sheetmetal and cut it to fit where the hole is. Then Just drilled a hole in it so the tail light assembly could bolt to it. Lastly I used some liquid gasket to seal the "patch" to prevent water (like it ever rains in Vegas)
  3. That is definatley different and I sort of like it. I think they would look even better if they were "tinted" to fit in with the black panel
  4. Here in Vegas there is an 06 Z06 engine going for $1900. If I had the cash I would have gone this route instead of the LT1.
  5. Another idea for a few one offs would be a CF hood with the MSA L88 style scoop/cowl integrated in. If they offered that I would be all over that in a heart beat. Of coures I would have to sell my wife and kids

  7. So far I am about $1500 into my swap so far. I still need headers and exhaust/drive line done then it shoud be ready to go.

  12. Why not use some 120mm Computer fans? They should be small enough to fit inside and yet still move enough air.
  13. Yellow was not a rare car for the 240's or any other Z. Now the rare colors are (78 Black pearl, 79 Citrus Green, and the 80 AE's.) Of course there were some other hard to find colors in the Z31's and Z32's but who cares about them any how?
  14. 70-83 clutch assemblies should work fine. Yes it will bolt right up to your car. You will need a 7/8th's Tilton master though.
  15. Tripple check all your vaccuum lines. I had that issue when my car had the L28ET setup and everytime I came to a stop the car stalled out. It ended up being a vaccuum line that went to my boost gauge that had a leak in it. By the way beautiful looking Z!!!

  17. Ok thanks the ones he has are the 2460hkr so that makes it the JTR ones after all. It would have been nice to have caramic coated ones for $100 shipped though

  19. Thats what i am doing, he has had them on his lt1 for a few years with no issues.
  20. Does any one know if these headers will work on the LT1 in an S30? The are hookers' 2460HKR?? I have a guy that has a set for $80+ s/h and if the do that will get my car running. If for some reason it wont work then time to save up for the JTR ones.

"I have a set of hooker ceramic coated shorties (SBC Gen 1 style) 1 5/8" primary's that i currently have on my LT1 im parting out. How's $100 shipped sound?" Will the work? If so I am going to grab them ASAP!!!
  22. drats... Ok good to know... any one want to buy a 04-05 Diablo sport Predetor tuner for a 6.6L diesel Duramax??? I looked at the ones on JTR and I'll be going that route as soon as i can scrape up some $$$
  23. I finally got the JTR mounts done now I cant seem to get the engine installed correctly. I am using the stock exhaust manifolds and for some reason they keep hitting the rails. Do I need to get center dump manifolds or are the stock ones usable?

  25. Sell them and get some Z34 seats or Z32 seats.
