Looking good man. I'm finally going to have my wiring harness sent off and redone for my application. I've gotten a couple promotions at work and now work more so more $$$ to pour into this thing.
Hey gang, any of you with an LT1 (F or B body configuration) know the bolts and such that are required for the front accessory bracket and accessories? I simply cannot find a straight answer on this stuff.
Are you sure its actually wired to megasquirt?
If not, yes, you will need to turn it manually. However, you want the timing to be locked, that is to say having no advance.
But yeah if you can get a turbo distributor, do that instead.
I did get that size. This weekend I hope to finally start working on the car for the spring. Money is going to be pretty tight for a while as I am moving into a new house, thankfully I have a bunch of parts that need to go on anyways. My next biggest obstacles will be wiring (which my father will do) driveshaft, and a electric fan setup. With the new engine + push start + gauges.. I don't envy my father.
Speedhut gauges, dash cap, new seat belts and some new heater core hoses on their way. Bye bye 1,100 dollars! Also got a new shifter to work with my setup.. its slowly coming together.. hoping to get some work done on it this spring break..
