  1. SPEC 11Lb Z flywheels have a 240mm plate and are drilled for 225mm and 240mm pressure plates. I have a 225mm clutch on a 240mm flywheel. If I had known it was the same part I would have gotten a 240mm clutch too.
  2. If your engine is all original, there is usually a cast-in date on the front main cover. On my engine it was exactly 30 years to the day before I bought the car that the front cover was cast. I thought that was cool. (11/15/73) vs. (11/15/03)
  3. "Oxide Monarch" is pretty good IMO. I wonder who's idea that was!
  4. Your LINK was bad so I fixed it. Why do you need that pump? Turbo? N/A? It should just be a straight bolt-in deal. It would have no effect on the electronics or oil pan. You can get a regular turbo oil pump at the parts store for $80 soo...
  5. Hogzilla? Killed in southern Ga...(these huge hogs are running rampant in southern Ga) Then the one shot by the kid...
  6. I think Oliver meant inline 6 motors... There was talk about casting an aluminum Datsun L6 over in the UK but I doubt anything came of it.
  7. If you are going to part it out... Be sure to get good at emptying your PM box...
  8. Maybe I was just reading of hand-cought fish... Don't really remember..
  9. Then the guy he sold it to let the shortblock sit out in the rain... Pretty much killed it.
  10. You know how hard it would be to go wheeling in that? I can hardly see the lines on the road while going around corners in my Z... try it with a 5' lift! LOL
  11. Its funny to see the difference in levels of fabrication from the Z car sites and then to go to race-dezert.com. LOL Several sanctioning bodies won't let the camaro race in the trophy truck class because it is not a "truck" LOL. Ron, I'd buy that 510 and run it around my back yard when we play paintball back there...LOL paintball "tank". Cut out the roof over the back seat and install an automatic paintball gun on top with a 2000 round loader. The chassis looks like a Geo Tracker?
  12. I have seen water moccasins here in GA while walking in a shallow/wide creek before (playing paintball, NOBODY ever looks in the creek). I'd never go noodling it in the southeast for that reason! And in Unadilla, I'd expect there to be Noodling... LOL
  13. The Braves won the world series 13 years ago... Comeback?
  14. They say the clamp down is the best part!!! LOL. If you look around other noodling vids guys come out bleeding! I think the biggest fresh-water fish cought in the US was about 140 pounds...
  15. Speaking of big catfish: http://www.marsh-tackle.co.uk/catfish.html Mekong giant catfish captured in Thailand: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2005/12/photogalleries/top_ten_pictures/photo9.html 646 pounds
  16. I have a good 83 LD block with 118,000 miles on it. Just a bare block with main caps. I also happen to have an L28 crank...and an N42 block with a new 87mm bore... A small "donation" to the "OTM is broke as a joke fund" can possibly get you some loot.
  17. Well in that case I'd guess that many of us would be good at it!
  18. I saw a show about "Okie Noodling" on "Georgia Public Broadcasting" the other night. Most people have never heard of it before... Check it out. I'd like to try it sometime... BTW its not legal in all states. LOL
  19. Camaro "trophy truck"... Widened about 18 inches.
  20. Yes I catch on pretty quick with CAD. I have Cosmos bundled with SolidWorks(extra ~$30) but never got CosmosWorks installed properly. Something with the license is causing my error. I'm going to work on it next week.
  21. Yes I know. I just did the rim to see if I liked the spoke design. I'd go back and do a real rim later. Dan
  22. Wow! Didn't even know about PhotoWorks! Check it out... Glass spokes on my wheel with polished platinum rim and center(LOL).
  23. Not with a busted crankshaft like that... I'd pass. Here in GA there are LOTS of Zs in decent shape for $700-$800 if you are willing to come over here...
  24. For these I just hit "save as" and picked .Jpg when I had the angle that I liked. You should be able to export it to any other program like Maya etc... I'm using SW 2007 Student edition with cosmos.
