Well I made these up in SolidWorks today... Just a quickie for the overall design so they aren't done yet. They are 17X11 with 5" of backspacing. The lugs are 5 on 4.5 to fit most 5 lug Nissans... Lets see your designs! Be they on a greasy nasty napkin with brown lipstick on them or completed CAD designs! OTM

Where is it coming from on the engine? Maybe just pull the valve cover and see if anything is loose...

Doesn't diff. eq. come after Calc 3? It was that way at my other school... Not a freshman course IIRC.

Remember that Big-Phil comletely blew up his old engine with one detonation instance at 20PSI. In engineering we have what is caled a "safety factor". It is the amount of stress that a part was designed to safely undergo without failure divided by the amount of stress that causes failure. When you up the boost you are reducing your safety factor closer and closer to the number one.(bad) With less of safety factor available even the least amount of detonation can can sen you under the number one and give you a basket case of a motor. "Safely" I would use no more than 14-16 PSI on a stock, unopened, 75k-150k mile motor with a stock-ish turbo WITH an intercooler...depending on your mods. Big-Phil's nice "stock" motor is FRESH with new rings and bearings, etc... so he can have a little more freedom with "fun" things like more boost etc... Just my 2 cents...

I'd do a 3.1 and slap the turbo-tom kit on it. There are turbo-tom powered strokers that are making nearly 500hp. Maybe just upgrade the turbo to something newer and more efficient.

I have heard that 86mm is the LIMIT for a P30 block. I have a N42 block that has a fresh 87mm bore(never used) on it if you are interested... shipping would be a pain though.

ME has more theoretical and thus is a bit harder... Also you are more valuable with a ME degree. I'm going ME. (that just sounds funny)

I lived at school and only had a Mongoose XR-200 mountain bike to get around town. Worked good until the chain came off in top gear while standing on the pedal and literally broke my face . I was about 2 miles from campus with another 3 miles to wally world (wal-mart). I had made the trip every week with 24 mountain dew cans in my backpack on the way back from the store as well as any other little goodies. Hope to get another bike this year...
