  1. Wow, that was quick! to USPS I still need to get myself a Dickies jacket (JC Penny's?) and some matching red and blue thread for the sewing machine. titanium, you have a PM.
  2. Well, as of today, all but two people have read thier PM's regarding this group buy. Out of them, 9 people still need to pay, and give me thier mailing information. If you are not interested in the patches anymore, PLEASE let me know! If anyone backs out, I'll let you guys know there are more available.
  3. Kenny, I don't see how that is a design flaw, your example was the owner not properly maintaining his vehicle. On a side note about that, for those using adaptors, use Locktite on the lug nuts, then torque them down. I would still check them, but using Locktite gives a little peace of mind. I have adaptors on my Z to run Honda wheels and never had a problem with them. Hell, I have 2 inch thick adaptors on my '02 Chevy S-10 Crew Cab to push the track out to fill the factory flares and to match the track width of the front wheels. I have had them on for at least 20,000 miles now and have had ZERO problems with them in a 4,000 pound truck that every now and then pulls a 1,800 trailer with a vehicle on it. I also take it off roading every once in a while too. As long as you buy the adaptors from a reputable company, you should not have any problems.
  4. We host videos here on Hybrid Z too. But I don't know the size limit.
  5. Vanilla Sky was a silver Ferrari 250 GTO replica, not a Porsche.
  6. Thanks man! You got it, one large and one small. I am now clean out of 7"x10" patches guys. I only have four small (4.25"x3") patches left as of 1/7/06 12:30am central time. EDIT: Robert (the guy I got the patches from) and I are working on a Hybrid Z patch, so we might have something else in the works for a later date.
  7. All that have paid thus far have had thier patches sent out today. I now have only one large patch left and four small ones as of 4:50pm central time. Almost half of you guys have responded and paid for them already, and only after one day. I'm impressed! Thanks Juan! And no problem.
  8. I bought some extras, but after a few latecomers, I'm down to 2 large ones left and 4 small ones. This is as of 1:45pm central time January 6th (my birthday today, I'm 30! I hope I don't slip on some ice outside and break a hip or something)
  9. It looks really cool with those high arches! Awsome job
  10. Here they are! I'm starting to PM everybody for how much they owe and where the patches need to go.
  11. Just recieved the patches in the mail a few minutes ago. Damn, USPS was fast! They are of very good quality . I was a bit worried sending almost $600 to someone in California, but Robert came through for us. A rear caliper froze on my truck and I need to deal with that first before the weather gets crappy. I should be sending out PM's later this afternoon to all involved.
  12. "I thought of this, then made it. What did you do?" "Nobody made it, so I did" "Hybrid Z, where imagination meets engineering." I like this one.
  13. I agree with the godfather, BUT this os only ONE of the many rules we have here. An open mind is the first. "A box has as many sides as you want..."
  14. The damn thing has 10 radiators, yes 10 radiators. A few of which I see can being eliminated. If you watched the Top Gear video, you know what I'm talking about. The vehcle was an exercise, and that's it. Hell, VW is LOOSING money on each sale of the vehicle. We will never see something like this again... unless another manufacturer thinks they can do better...?
  15. Awww, isn't it cute? Haha... just palyin' man. I applaud your ingenuity to make your vehicle what you want it to be. We have all been there, "deal with what ya' got".
  16. I never really went through with any resolutions untill last year. I told myself that I wasn't going to end up in the hospital at all in '05 (been in the hospital for something at least once every year since 9/19/99). It took a lot... only went mountain biking a couple times and held myself back from doing anything dumb... didn't go inline skating... no wakeboarding... no motorcycles... no fun... really just had to hold back on my whole lifestyle. Now my waistline is getting squishy. I say screw it for this year, I'm living my life like I want to, like I have in the past. I already have a gift certificate for skydiving that my family all chipped in for. Also, the GNZ is so close to being road ready, it's almost funny, so that will be running as soon as the weather here permits. All that plus BUY A FREEKIN' HOUSE! EDIT: Evo, you can't get laid? Is that a joke, what with your Bosnian accent, very funny personality, and charming good looks? My sister thinks you're lying...
  17. Just throwing out some ideas here... John, what about something like nixcars did, but with the top brace under his filter box?
  18. Just a quick update... the patches will be in my mailbox by the end of this week. I'll private message each person that is on the list when I get the patches.
  19. You're going to need to somehow re-attach the top of your core support. The integrity of the core support is pretty important.
  20. Buick 3.8 V-6. The harmonic balancer is behind the steering rack. There is quite a bit more room to move the engine back even further, but that would require the passenger footwell to be modified for the downpipe to fit.
  21. dumpalink.com has a few good videos. Click here
  22. Just a FYI, people have been stating that the CF ZG flares that MSA sells don't fit the greatest. I remember one guy stating that he woud be better off fixing them and painting them black.
