  1. Damn! Here's the translation for you lazy folks "Traffic accident 'in which a person got stuck'. Ootmarsumse-street, Tilligte An accident during a test drive led to the destruction of a €450k special Porsche. The women driving the car got badly injured. ('zwaargewond' means you have to stay in the hospital for longer than 24hours) Two guests staying at the hotel of Ootmarsum were allowed to borrow the car from another guest. The test drive ended after one kilometer. The woman lost control over the vehicle, possibly because she was driving too fast. The car hit a few trees and was torn in two pieces. The passenger got off with minor injuries. "
  2. Hey, that's at my local track! Never seen that thing.
  3. Savage, he already does something similar with dabs of paint.
  4. Here I am with my highball of whiskey all ready to chat it up, but nobody is there...
  5. Really? I'll check out Old Navy tommorow, because my guy that was supposed to help me out with a jacket seems to have vanished...
  6. Terry, Did you see the SIMPSON Dickies Men Jean Jacket from that link (fifth jacket down)? "Factory silicone sealed to contain fly ash." Well the last guy on the list got back to me and he is letting his patches go. So, Mike I'll PM you information for the large patch and I'll have one small patch that will be up for grabs. First to PM me gets it!
  7. Yep, got it the other day... under memo on your check you write "for being a badass"
  8. I'm working with the guy to make these happen. I need to send him a design of what we would like. First of all, is there even enough interest to go through with this? And secondly, what would they look like? I'm thinking it would be about 4 inches long, by about 2.5 inches in height. It would look similar to the back of the first Hybrid Z shirts. It would have the silhouette or outlined image of an S30 with Hybrid Z across it. But, we have S130's, Z31's and Z32's on here, so maybe drop the siloute? What design would you guys make? I was also thinking of just bold lettering like this: HybridZ.org with the line through the middle of the Z of course. Ideas?
  9. All my extra patches are gone! I'm going to give the very last guy one more week to reply to my PM's, so if by next Sunday (1/22) he still has not responded, I'll have your large one Mike and an extra small one that will be up for grabs. I just want to say thank you to Tyson for doing the initial footwork for this group buy and for letting me take this over. It was pretty cool talking with everybody through PM's. I'm honored to be on a website of this caliber. Just one big family. I'm having a guy stop by tommorow so I can look at a "Slash pocket Ike" jacket. I guess it is exactly the same as a Dickies jacket (which is next to imposible to buy around southeast Wisconsin). If I buy the Ike jacket, he will get my patches sewn on for next to nothing! I'll post pictures if/when I get my jacket with patches sewn on. Does anybody else have thier patches sewn on a jacket yet? If you do, post pictures! EDIT: I don't plan on doing another group buy of Datsun patches, unless there is enough interest. Also, I'm waiting to hear back from Robert for the "Hybrid Z" patches, so hold your horses folks...
  10. The plastic tanks have a hose connecting the filler neck to the tank. I wouldn't say doing the LS1 fuel tank swap is easier than another, but the benefits of this tank are awsome. I didn't mind removing the spare tire well, because I drive the Z around town and if there is a problem with a tire, the fix is only a phone call away for me.
  11. Sure do. Send me a PM with your information again. I had to delete a bunch of PM's to free up some space.
  12. Cool! Who says that you have to put them on a jacket... By the way, I still have a few of the small patches available
  13. Love the sounds! I don't know if this has been posted yet... right click, save as
  14. Sounds interesting! Mark me down for a signed copy Where did you meet DJ Short?
  15. That was a pretty cool short story! We had a fellow on here a while back, I think his name was SPIRIIT or something like that. I'm not sure if you were still around or not Larry, but he told short stories on here for a while... up 'till one day he just went back and erased every single post he had made on Hybrid Z.
  16. Speaking of rally's... there is no Datsuns in this link, but the pictures and descriptions are pretty cool. Some neat machines Click here
  17. Gut the proportioning valve on your 240Z (makes for less hassle), and run a aftermarket adjustable proportioning valve on the rear brake line.
  18. The bolts holding the halfshafts on are not screwed into the companion flange. Just pop them out. They seem to be rusted, so use some PB blaster and work them out with some love taps with a standard screwdriver, or whatever tool you feel like using. That pin in the last couple of pictures also pops right out. Hit it with some PB blaster, put the nut back on the end and tap it up. It will come out. I assume you want to pull that pin out so you can pull the spindle pin out (this is what the puller you were refering to is used for)? I also assume you want to pull all this apart to install new bushings? If not, you can install your struts and springs without going through the hassle of removing the strut assembly. Although, I recomend installing new bushings while you are in there.
  19. I have 3 small patches, but I don't have any more rear patches at the moment. Would you still want the 3 small patches?
  20. Mike, I might have one large one for you. People have taken my extra ones and the ones that people backed out of. There is only one guy that has not responed to my PM. If he backs out, you are next in line. All that have contacted me after 1/9 will have thier patches sent out tommorow. I tell ya guys... I screwed myself on this one. I completely forgot about Paypal fees. 95% of you paid with Paypal and the fee's killed this group buy for me. There is a half a dozen guys that paid WAY more then they should have, and I am very gratefull for that... you know who you are Thanks. But still it wasn't enough for me to break even. But that's okay, live and learn. So, if these Hybrid Z patches work out, I'm going to up the price at the very least $1.75 per patch just to cover Paypal fee's, postage (which USPS upped now) and for some decent envelopes.
  21. Nice! Check this one out: Warning, video shows the guy's face all messed up, so if you don't want to see it, don't click on it. Right click, save as
