The big patch in the group buy was 10" X 7" and a quick glace at eBay showed that the large ones for sale were 10" X 7.25", so maybe not exactly the same, but close enough. The little ones looked identical though.
Damn, I was going to say look at the outskirts of Milwaukee, WI (seriously, everything you need is here plus Blackhawk farms, Road America ), but then I saw what she needs and well, good luck.
I have ZERO large patches, however I have ONE small patch left. One guy seemed interested, but I haven't heard back from him if he is definetly going to buy it or not. Look on eBay, I bet there are a few on there.
Finally got myself a jacket from a Dickies outlet. I'm glad I didn't order one through the internet, because I had to try on four jackets before I found one that would fit me right. It's a Dickies Lined Eisenhower Jacket (charcoal). Fits awsome! Just finished sewing on the patches tonight (yes, I know how to sew ) Check it out
I'm suprised none of you guys caught this... he spelled "engineered" wrong! I'll let him know
EDIT: Just came up with this craptacular image in microsoft paint. Is this what some of you might want instead of the red Z with our slogan on it? Our software on the site would not host this image, so I had to host it on Digistash.com, so obviously "Digistash.com" will not be there. I just lack the skills and software to make better images. Also, would you guys want a white background or light grey? What color border?
Or... do you guys think "HybridZ.org" (capitol or lowercase "Z"?) or just "Hybrid Z" across the top? If you guys like his design, then we'll go with it.
Also, that little wave on the bottom of the red "Z" is straight from the font used on the "Z" in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Would you guys want the bottom of the "Z" straight?
EDIT: The patch shown is 6" X 3.25". I'm thinking it should be a bit smaller, like around 4" X 3.25" ... yes?
The guy I'm working on this with, threw this design at me. What do you guys think? Maybe have a "Z" right after "Hybrid", but other than that, I think it looks pretty cool.
Nice wheels!
(Just thinking out loud) Those would look sweet with the right offset for some ZG flares AND someone just said on here that Centerline will make these wheels wider than 8" in four bolt again! Paint the center anthracite and they would look sweet!
I talked to the guy last night. He wants to trade my MIG plus whatever it costs to buy a cage for his little race car. He said it might be as little as $250. So, My MIG + ~$250 = a TIG for me! I'll see what happens next week
I really like my Lincoln MIG welder and hate to give it up, but this is one heck of a deal.
I'm going to see if I can check it out first hand this weekend. Are there any parts I should look at to make sure it's still in good "2 year old" condition? Mr. Coffee, Grumpy? From the pictures, it looks like a good cleaning is in order, and there might be a dent on the side, but overall decent condition.
Well, it's a trade for my MIG plus about $350-$500 for his TIG. I want to get into welding aluminum for some projects I had in mind. Plus the TIG unit is only 2 years old AND it comes with everything seen in the pictures.
Here's the pictures of the unit:

I guess this is kind of a tech question, but I may be able to trade my Lincoln Weld Pak-100 (with gas hook up) for this Lincoln 175 Pro TIG welder . What do you guys think? I know I'll still need a MIG down the road though. But, a TIG unit is so much more versatile! Don't know what to do...
Awsome choice Lewis. I love the looks of the FX. The difference between the two is just the engine size as far as I know. With gas prices nowadays, which one would you want, a 3.5 V-6 or a 4.5 V-8?
Good news Norm. Was worried when I read your original post and didn't know how to reply. Hope everything goes back to normal for you. You'll be shaving material off pistons with emery cloth and blowing up transmisions in no time
Just found out who that guy is. His name is Russ Jerome and he belongs to a group of people called Extreme PSI in southeast Wisconsin. He's on one of the local forum's here, and I didn't even know it. Here's his web page click here . "13's for $200"
