I don't know about "general consensus" but my opinion is that the M62 is too small to fool with. If you're building a mild street motor, the M90 should work well. If you're willing to gamble a little in the name of science, the M112 might prove worthy, especially if you're planning on running more boost via intercooling, race fuel, meth injection, etc, etc. Ultimately, this is a huge generalization. It really depends on what you're doing with the car and, because its largely uncharted/untested territory, you might find this to be hogwash.
