    You can only polish a turd so much. I have seen people at the track break as many TKO's and built t5's at the track as stock t5's. They can hold the power, but they can't stand ANY abuse,

    They do have a replacement dash that will never crack. vildini's fiberglass dash! there is just not enough people willing to drop the coin on OEM quality replacement parts, so nobody really does.

    If you use any electric sender that uses NPT, you need a BPT to NPT adapter. Or you could try and tap the block.

    Same motor, but those DE motors are wide and heavy, unreliable, They will only make about 180WHP and will disappoint you and are an absolute PITA to work on. Changing the spark plugs is about the only thing easy to do on those motors. If you go VG anything, go turbo, regardless of et or dett.

    Since where speaking our public opinion on what we think about our cars. I view the car itself as nothing more then a mixture of metal, plastic, rubber and cloth. And can be completely replaced one way or the other. But the bond between me and the machine I'm driving, connects me physically, mentally and spiritually to it, which is why I choose to display and have emotions for it.

    Also it helps to have the roll bar attach to the frame in the back.

    It's not that it was designed for a 240z, but that its just a cheap poorly thought out main hoop, meant to be sold to people who don't know better. (not trying to insult you, but it is, what it is) the 24/6/80z coupes are all the same dimensionally.

    me and my brother used a box stock holley 750 in our unlimited auto-x car for 2 years without any problems, we now run a proform 750, with with a machined choke horn, billet metering plates, billet base plate and a few other mods, which I'm not at liberty to say. As long as your floats are adjusted correctly and they are full width floats, you shouldn't have any problem, unless your turning like 2 g's for seconds at a time.

    I'm not liking how far away the main hoop is from the side of the car with that cage.

    Whats wrong with taking a few degree's of spark out of it? for the thermostatically controlled fan, you might want to toss it on a switch, as your allowing the engine to get hot and heat soak, before the fan turns on.

    Stick with the 33's heads, they use bigger studs and have bigger coolant passages, while you will have to modify the ports in the 30's heads to use them on a 33's block.

    Yeah, I know. the whole goal changing thing was more from me and my constantly changing budget/time, if that red z31T I bought wasnt so clean, I would have stuck that motor in her. One day, I will have a built vg33et track 240z.

    Man, this is getting depressing... the z might be leaving on a tow truck towards its new home at the end of next weekend. I never thought, I would actually cry with real tears at the thought of my car leaving.

    Just port the stock exhaust manifolds, they flow REALLY well from what I have read and seen.

    Well it didn't happen, neither did a sbc end up in my z either. I'm going old school with a l28, running SU's and a 5 speed. picking it up next weekend, if the guy comes through.

    I look at retail price, whenever I do price comparisons, usually the retail price of parts, or even getting parts strait from the manufacturer are ALOT lower then almost any advertised price.
