  1. sure. I am pretty sure all VG manifolds are the same anyways. Only difference being turbo vs non turbo.

  2. Here she is, in the sunlight, after the first coat and a good rub down with some 400 grit sand paper.
  3. i have a turbo manifold left...i think thats about it.

  4. engine mounts, trans mount, cooling, electrical mods, driveshaft, shifter/clutch lines, speedo cable..etc its all in the book and in the v8 section of this forum.
  5. If you're looking for a z to build, I'll sell you me 73 roller.
  6. And just to think, most modern bikes can sit at 14k RPM for a couple hours strait, before they would die. Its hard to believe just how much engines/cars have changed in the past 20 years. They are so close, yet miles apart when broken down.
  7. with a good tune, you should be there already, if not really close. 12psi and your there and then some.
  8. Hey you sent that driveshaft out yet?

  9. Pics from tonight. And if i can find ANYONE who sells por15 in my town, thats what the interior is going to be.
  10. Well, that confirms my suspicion, that you are indeed, a crazy old man...
  11. Aright, I'm going to level with you guys... I have no idea, what is going into this engine bay, it might be a vg30e/t it might be a l28, it might be an l28et, hell I might even toss a sbc back into it.
  12. One thing I would like to complain about, is the lack of color, lack of quick reply and lack of logo's/ad's. If I was color blind and had no fingers, this site would be awesome!
  13. i can't wait until they start adding the logo's and other odd's and ends. It's going to be weird, having the classifieds section in a different place though.
  14. Overall not bad for the whopping 10 minutes it has been up.
  15. You would be lucky if that trans weighs over 50 pounds, just have a friend undo the last top bolt, while your under it holding it in place, as soon as the trans comes off the dowel pins, just lower it to your chest and slide off to your side. easy as that. If I can pull a t56 by myself without a lift or trans jack, you can pull an old z car trans.
  16. I love planes, but if I'm having a hard time affording parts for the z, a plane is definitely out of the question.
  17. I've got an easy solution to fixing lost keys in old cars. go to your tool box. then pull out a medium sized flat head screw driver, stick it in the ignition and twist!
  18. All tuning aside, the turbo/s is what decides the boost limit.
  19. Same chassis from what I have seen. It said sportage on the back and fit great!
  20. I tried some weather stripping from a sportage convertible on a s30 and you end up with about a foot and a half of extra weatherstripping per door.
  21. just no engine and no trans, I have made a custom chassis harness, using newer ford relays, I have a ford starting solenoid where the factory fuse box used to be..etc autometers, R200 swap, subtle z rear fenders...etc http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v353/hoov100/v8%20240z/
  22. ^^ thats the one I'm talking about. I'll sell you my 73 s30 roller for $1100 delivered
