  1. Make sure you have then checked for straightness or turned, before using them. I've seen alot of brand new off the shelf rotors up to 50 thousandths off right out of the box.
  2. Hybridz is integrating itself to a supercomputer, to prepare for 2012 and when skynet comes aware..
  3. I've used nothing but regular 'ole 10/30 synthetic in three of my compressors without any problem. My father ran regular motor oil in his, before he gave it to me and it's still kicking 30 years later without a problem. I concur about draining the compressor tank about every week though.
  4. rent a uhaul, drive 100 miles and disconnect the speedo, the park a block away from the uhaul center and re-connect it.
  5. completely strip and bead blast/sand blast the chassis and all the body parts and panels fix the rust and ask about how much a paint job costs.
  6. Dude.. this post is almost 7 years old and is in the wrong section to begin with. Go to the interior section and research the spal power window kit.
  7. as the title states. Mileage doesn't matter as I'll just swap the odometer, NEEDS to be a 90-91 NOT a 92-96. I would prefer paypal, but I can do money orders, shipping is to 92260.
  8. You can find CF and FG nascar ducts and tubing REALY cheap.
  9. At the end of the day, it's still just a car. regardless if it's a z, enzo, zonda, benz..etc
  10. Look up walker auto works in bermuda dunes CA they do some top notch engines there.
  11. cylinder head temp sender. (it tells the carburetor how much coolant needs to bypass the trans cooler.)
  12. Just get a new key and pulley and run it. if the crank is indeed screwed up, you might as well try and run it until it needs a rebuild.
  13. Thats the difference with what was posted above. a professional vinyl wrap can be made and installed in 2 days for around $1200 depending on where you go, the guy in the original post did it for less then $200. How long it lasts is usually dependent on how much care you give it, as not washing it and letting the car sit in the sun all day will ruin just about any vinyl wrap and most paint jobs over time.
  14. You don't need a perfect flaw free surface, just a clean one, where the paint isn't going to flake off, where theres no rust..etc Imagine a vinyl wrap as just a gigantic vinyl sticker. (I know if I get a new car, I'm going to be doing a wrap to protect the factory paint)
  15. the stock one? unless you are pushing some ridiculous WHP figure or you are running some wide and sticky slicks at the drag strip, an R230 is way overkill.
  16. Just opinion here, but if you're going to spend any measurable amount of money on seats, you might as well just get a one piece seat, as they will offer the most comfort, safety and containment. Plus they won't be hard and over padded and will actually provide lumber and ass support.
  17. I love wraps, but doing it in sections like that would take a fairly long time.
  18. If you can get you're hands on them, a a fusible link box and a relay/fuel block from a z32 would fit the bill perfectly for a custom wiring harness.
  19. Lol, you need the modules and what not, for the glow plugs, if you're injector pump, injectors and all of the lines are there, then you will need to completely clean out the fuel line from the tank to the engine bay and you need to clean out the tank. you need a fuel/water separator and fuel filter as close to the injector pump as possible. sure you can do over 75mph with the ld28, but it will take you a while. You really need to download the diesel maxima's FSM and do a little searching on google.
  20. IMHO, they look like chinese recaro knock off's with a big price tag.
  21. If you can find them, those multi-layered aluminum re-usable crush gaskets work EXTREMELY good at sealing, even if the surface isn't flat.
  22. Look up vg30et and ve30de, they weigh less then the GM motor, no guessing about fitment and more then enough power potential. Plus they can be had anywhere from $50 to $400 for a complete running motor. This should be in the "other engines" forum BTW.
