  1. ignition module? You know a points distributor doesn't have a module right?
  2. You can tig more then aluminum. As for the bolt on part, what would stop you from just running a long stud, that would go through the adapter?
  3. If i had the cash, we would have a hybridz bon fire, with that car.
  4. If i didn't break mine with a hammer a couple weeks ago, to replace it with lexan, I would offer it, but I'll have a look around at a couple yards for one, next week if you havent found one.
  5. The bolt on adapters, you can buy off of ebay, the other one, I believe is custom. (I'm fairly sure you have to tig aluminum)
  6. dude, for $25 shipped I'll send you a good set of choke cable, priority mail..
  7. maybe when i finally track down a decent z31T parts car.
  8. Lol. I just came to the conclusion of why do I have a build thread for my z on hybridz if I'm going to stick a stock L-6 in it? (my l28 is for sale now)
  9. It's been spelled out twice in this thread and has been spelled out more then a few times on more then a few forums.
  10. I've got a strait 73 roller, ready for a motor in palm springs for $1200.
  11. I hope the the spline count is the same as a stock s30.
  12. depends on which 300zx your talking about, as only a certain series of z31's have the hubs and rotors that you can use. Also, you won't be able to use any 300zx caliper, without an adapter. You would need to use the toyota 4 piston caliper, for a bolt on brake kit.
  13. that would be assuming, their is not another space or technology race.
  14. running street stocks at a circle track is about $20k a season and where the "low end" class of racing. Late models cost about $40-60k a year. This is all assuming you don't wad up the car.
  15. The rattle can job is tits! The home made strut tower bar seems a little iffy to me though, I coulda swore i heard someone say something about the strut towers in s30's twisting and not moving in and out.
  16. FYI, stay away from newer stock GM IRS units. (GTO, CTSV, G8..etc) I took torque management and traction control off my GTO and have a record of two diffs being munched and one locking up on the freeway on street tires and a stock motor.
  17. bicycle shop would be the place to go, to get a custom cable like that though.
  18. all the american s30's have smog ports as far as i know.
  19. stock l28 from a 78 280z, stock n47 head, i checked the dylinder walls when the head was off and i could still see the factory hone marks without ridges. I have no idea what they go for, but say $200, for it and everything for it? (harness, ECU, dizzy, intake and exhaust manifod, clutch and flywheel)
  20. I have a long block in palm springs CA, has a new head gasket, just need to put the timing chain back on and your set.
  21. does it need a fuel pump or injector pump?
  22. z32 rear 2 piston calipers and z31 vented rotors for brakes, for the ebrake I was thinking of some along the lines of using a separate caliper, but no ebrake for now until i figure this out.
  23. Not really doing it to handle obscene amounts of power, but at the end of the day after the machining and welding its going to be cheaper then even a set of the CV adapters.
