  1. your best bet, is to pull the cover and see what it is.
  2. What i was getting at, was grab a t5 from a camaro and use that, instead of the s130's t5.
  3. let me know if you need any sbc parts, as I know people who know people and we can get you some bad a** stuff on the cheap.
  4. could you slide the hose back, till its about an inch and a half on the lower hose inlet on the radiator and put the hose clamp on the very edge of the lower rad. hose?
  5. I've got a FG headlight bucket with all studs and bolts if you still want them.
  6. inside the intake/exhaust runner? inside the cylinder?
  7. You know they put the T5 in IROC camaro's right?
  8. R1? hadron collider? space time continuum?
  9. You would go through all that work to save like $300? also the reason the TT swap requires so much time, is that TT chassis are different up front then the N/A chassis, but dont come crying back, when z1 tells you to just buy one of their TT clips.
  10. I dont know where you got that info, but its no where near correct. the z32 calipers come in aluminum or iron, 4 piston, 26mm pistons or 30mm pistons and 280mm rotors. and none are bolt on. also silvermine motors uses a caliper bracket for early 240sx calipers, which makes the mounting holes to narrow, MM uses the later 240sx calipers which would make the z32 rear calipers bolt on, but you wouldnt have a parking brake feature unless you installed a line lock or equivalent. and no, the only people i have seen with z32 brakes, installed z32 suspension as well. (also there is a HUGE sticky on brakes as well as an entire section for it, that should have the answers with little searching)
  11. do you mean the alternator? couldnt you just shorten the radiator hose to straiten out the kink a little? I think a pic of where it is rubbing would help alot.
  12. exactly! lets quit beating around the bush and just set fire to it already!!
  13. if you do the conversion, do it right, dont half ass it.
  14. its been done a few times, but if you want to do it, just to say you have a rhd car or you want to impress your friends, it wouldnt be worth it.
  15. dude, go read the wiki page on headlights and come back and tell me that a reflector type headlight is going to be even somewhat close to a projector.. (btw we used 6 of those lights on my friends truck, they work great in the desert.)
  16. that so bad a$$ it would be even cooler if he kept the awd though, that would be a trip.
  17. any HID bulb in a reflector housing without a way to focus the light, is just going to scatter the beam and blind oncoming traffic, which would make it fairly inefficient at providing any usable light. (also could you post a link to the lens? I checked google and visions website, but nothing came up for "Vision-X VX-7HD lens" )
  18. Lord, forgive my generation for they know not what they do, nor do they know the questions they ask....
  19. hidden car charger, cigarette lighters are only 2 wires.
  20. just by a TT clip and make your life easy, their is no cheap TT conversion or a unique TT conversion.
  21. dude, its gonna take more then valve reliefs to make a non interference motor, you would need one seriously dished piston or have a very small lift cam, someone needs to go to the junkyard and pull one apart completely and compare it part by part to a regular vg.
