  1. I have no idea how they work or how to install one, but there was one of those with the sweet power steering rack and it didnt take much to turn it with 12" slicks and a 2:1 steering quickener.
  2. the problem with HID's are, they arent very efficient without projectors. You would also just be blinding everyone running HID's through normal 7" housings. Ontop of that the buckets are easy to get out, If i can do it on the side of the road at 3 am with a pair of small pliers and a multi-tool and no flashlight, then it should be a problem for anyone doing it at their house.
  3. anyone with a their name in red. PM either BRAAP, RTz or johnc as they are the more higher ups.
  4. try using a socket from any z 87-96, if you want to get really creative, you can get thre wire sockets for the brake lights and two wire sockets for the turn signal and reverse lights.
  5. wouldnt a power steering servo also work in this case?
  6. just make sure you tap on it towards you.
  7. alright, managed to get something done tonight!!!! If you can't see these, you dont need to drive... and my uber battery mounting location....
  8. lol, that totally needs to be caught on camera, if that ever happens...
  9. we normally dont sit on our hubs, except maybe skib. thats one weird kid.... most people (including me) just take the nut off the center and wiggle it and it should pop off, if it doesnt, take a small dead blow and gently tap it evenly around the rim.
  10. Is skib going to jump the gorge with them duke boys tomorrow?
  11. a 600cfm carb is a little big for an l24, isnt it?
  12. thats just down right scary.......
  13. I think a set of 12 point lug nuts that requires a 1 inch 12 point socket, would deter most thieves. seriously, when have you ever seen a 12 point lug nut?
  14. going from mechanical to electric will cost more, then buying a new mechanical pump, theirs no point in getting a high end fuel pump as your going to have to regulate it down to stock fuel pressure anyway. theirs no pro's or con's to either in a stock application.
  15. something like these? http://www.summitracing.com/search/?keyword=-6%20AN%20to%201/4%20NPT&dds=1
  16. You should spend a couple months researching everything to form your own views and opinions, before you start trusting one source. And 3k pounds is a fairly respectable number with a full cage and a stock body RWD race car.
  17. I dont think i would wait until bed time.
  18. a z31 stripped, full cage and a 18 gallon fuel cell without a driver should weigh about the 3000 mark, without touching body panels. (stock they weigh around 3200) the rest of your questions have been answered many times and there is now a sticky on it.
