Yeah, I didn't fit well either ! I'm 6'0 and 258lbs. They are more suited for people like my dad 5'9" and 185lbs or smaller.

If you are doing a diff/axle setup like Sunny Z I would do T56 all the way(I'm doing a Viper t56 anyway, I just don't have the Fab skills so I have to figure out how not to break stuff another way). Auto's are a lot nicer on the axles !

Ok, I got all my lights working except driver's headlight(I haven't really check it out yet). Turn signals work with indication on my speedhut gauge, hazards work, brake lights, dash lights, etc. So now I want to move on to the blower motor. My thought is to have it as an alternate way of cooling the engine if overheating occurs(plus to keep me warm in the winter). The wiring on that side of the car is so confusing and crazy. I don't think I need any of it except Hazard and blower motor.

This is what I'll be trying out ! I already have a VLSD swapped into my R200 and I just need to the short splined 5 star stub.

You can use a lt1 t56 too, you just have to convert it. Bellhousing,input shaft and front plate !

My turn signal sw is broken and I need another one. I don't know if its different for the 240z or the 280z. If not then I'll go for those too.

When I turn on the Hazards both rear lights flash, I don't have the rear side markers installed but I could check for voltage there. Both the right front side marker(I don't have the driverside installed but a simple voltage check will confirm its operation) and both turn signals flash also. The only light not working is the driverside headlight(confirmed by connecting the right headlight in the left and also checking for voltage at the plug). I was planning on replacing my turn signal sw because the part that contacts the back of the steering wheel broke. Do you have pics of your fuseable link set up ? Thanks for the info !

Right Rear and front turn signal works all flash when hazards is on. Not sure about the front or rear side markers, the front pass side works. I suppose I can measure for voltage for the driverside.

Got the Hazards to work and the right signal. The left signal does not flash when the turn signal sw is activated but does flash with the hazards.

Hazard sw plugged in as well as the flashers, still turn turn signals !

Bulb is good, no power at the plug. I gotta find my Haz. light !

So in theory the thick white wire is the main power wire and I can basically put power to it and it'll power everything ?

I'll look again for just a white wire then !

Does battery power come through the starter ?

I'm not sure ! PO said the car ran 6 months before I bought it. He parked it to do a SR20 turbo swap when his wife got orders for Georgia. I never tried starting the car after I bought it and trailered it home. I just started removing stuff I know I wasn't going to use.

Swap is not complete yet. I bought a viper t56 that I will pickup this weekend, I'll have to swap in a input shaft/midplate or get the stock input shaft milled and buy a spacer. The LS 4.8 engine is assembled. Old engine/trans is gone ! I did cut out obvious wires(distributor, alt, etc). I have speedhut gauges and push button start, RX8 powered driver seat. I made my own stand alone harness which is mostly done and it will mount where the batt. would normally go. The batt. will be inside the cab.

I need to power just my exterior lighting, igntion and heater duct fan. Sorry guys ! I got a little frustrated on something else and then decided to try and look at a wire diagram bad mix !

Yes! I'll have to either mill the viper input shaft or change it to ls1, ls1 bellhousing, and maybe front/midplate depending on which TOB I want to use. The Ls1 TOB is clocked differently.
