  2. awesome. i'll have to check it out next time I stop by a bookstore!
  3. if it's an actual garrett unit, that's a good deal.
  4. because they're not rusted out? ie. they still exist?

  6. can't speak for the 6i, but I've tested out the mazda3 twice. tested the 2.3L hatchback and the 2.3L sedan. It was refined, good power, good handling. pretty comfy. I just didn't connect with it, but it seemed like a really nice car. Not too bad for the price either.
  7. mazda6 are good cars, just understeer a bit. mazda's interior is on par with luxury/german cars, it's exceptionally well done for average econosedans. That being said, mazda usually focuses on handling/feel rather than power, which is why mazda's power ratings are a bit below par with competition (ie. 200hp for the mazda6 vs. 255hp for altima 3.5se, 240hp for honda accord, etc) Test one out and see how it feels. otherwise reliability's pretty decent, keep in mind mazda is 40% ford, and the mazda3 is a reskinned 2007 ford focus in the US, which is the current focus in Europe right now. Mazda b-series pickup is the ranger, etc...I don't know if any of the mazda6 shares components with ford counterparts.
  8. damn man, quickly, rush to the summit catalog to order clean billet parts you got some derusting and cleaning to do!
  9. I've had people on crotchrockets try to race me on sunol grade because they thought I was you.
  10. lol, yeah. not many know where that's from. they're making a 3rd installment, apparently. I loved fallout 1 and 2, and tactics
  11. http://forums.clubsi.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=5279916&an=0&page=0 scroll down to post by "FUSION". He's a local guy (to me), and 200 bucks for the pair is an awesome deal for how comfortable they are. I'd buy them, but I already have a set of Corbeau CR1 seats.
  12. I may have a spare LCA, I'll look around the garage and see if I find it. Yours if you pay shipping. Shoot me a PM to remind me, I'm not home right now.
  13. rotaries have 4 injectors, and love fuel. primary 2 injectors are 550cc, secondaries are 1680cc. Stock was 550x4. primaries fire constantly, and secondaries switch on about 3500rpm. Boost is about 12psi, but not running yet
  14. update: stock 550 on right, 1680cc on left top modified bottom modified full injectors side to side
  15. no, really, returnless fuel systems do exist: my neon has a feed line to the fuel rail, and that's it. no return
  16. that beautiful. Looks like the 44mm tial wastegate I have. question: where did you get the flex joints?
  17. that's odd. I ordered a 3" vband clamp from vertexnow on ebay, and the unit I got was a direct fit for a 3" pipe. the t4 turbo exhaust housing I have fits the 3" pipe, and can be welded on, but an outside sleeve is recommended. Actually, the flange fits perfectly over it. 73botiz is welding it for me, so I'll take pics when it's done.
  18. I think I'll pass on the filter, afshin has a good point. I've consulted with other rotary guys, they gave same reasoning
  19. uhm, how hard? how good are you at welding, and do you have about 100 hours of labor to spare?
  20. half your cars have teh steering wheel on the wrong side! silly manufacturers! my old ride
  21. I'm thinking of putting an inline oil filter into the turbo feed line. It's 4an for feed, and who besides earl's (that's the only one I could find on summit) makes an inline oil filter I can install? Is it a good idea?
