  1. Well, I don't know the cost for your offset, len... they're oddball lug pattern, 4x110.4, aren't they?
  2. So, my friend works for a distributor/reseller. I was over there today BS'ing at their BBQ, and we were talking about wheels.... specifically rota grid wheels. They're VOLK te37 knock offs, but they only come in 4x100 or 5x114.3 bolt patterns, and +40 offset. Sucks, huh? here's a volk te37 for comparison Anyway, long story short: they have a setup with rota to produce the GRID wheels (shown above) for toyota ae86s in 4x114.3 with +10 offset in 16x8. This is perfect for those with coilovers wanting to fit 245/45/16 tire in the Z correctly without flares. The MSRP for that setup is about 200/wheel. If we can get a few people going on this, there's probably a discount involved edit: My friend just weighed these, they are 17.5lbs each in 16x8 Thoughts? I'm going to see if we can test fit this setup over my 4 piston calipers w/ 300zx vented rotors to see what the clearance is. I'll also see if I can get a picture of hte +10 offset wheel instead of the 40 shown above, it looks much better If interested, contact Dana at AutoRnD.com (contact info on their site) and tell him Alex referred you to the rota grid setup from hybridZ. He'll know
  3. I just sent that to 73BOTIZ, it's in his neck of hte woods... maybe I should email this to jumbo240ez too
  4. Tune into MTV's BLING MY RIDE as Xibit show you how to polish a turd!
  5. HAHAHHAHAHHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. yup. already been posted
  7. http://www.zcar.com/forums/read.php?f=1&i=589827&t=589827 wow....
  8. THERE ARE 4 LIGHTS! no, wait, that's star trek
  9. hehe, not as bad as getting an email telling you about facility shutdown, and 100 people getting canned over email been there, got the t-shirt!
  10. Right, that's what I meant. I think I told wheelman the same thing when he was going to get the whole assembly from a junkyard
  11. double check the lower retractor, make sure it's the same length and bolt holes line up I had a set of 280z retractable belts like that that looked like they'd fit, but didn't. I don't know about 260Zs, good luck
  12. He ain't gonna like it... temp is hitting 100 today here, and about 105 where he'll be staying He should stay more in SF, where it'll be at least 15* cooler
  13. how does one go about measuring toe in/out at bumpsteer? it has to be shock induced, right? You can't just tie down the chassis to the ground and compress the suspension while having wheel cranked, can you?
  14. it's the motor that's been used in j-bodies (cavaliers/sunfires) for almost a decade now. The new saturn ion redline and chevy cobalt SS use the 2.0 liter supercharged ecotec motor making 205hp at the crank The new pontiac solstice will be using the 2.4 ecotec in rwd configuration, with optional supercharger later down the road
  15. yes, it will go back to 87, i believe
  16. I've got a carfax account for another 3 weeks, unlimited vehicle checks. If you need a car checked, PM me with the VIN. This won't work on old cars like Zs Also, send me your email. The PM will not accept more than 5000 characters, and average carfax is 27,000
  17. junction blocks? Are you talking about the proportioning valves, or the T -block splitters? I'd just get rid of hte prop valves, and T blocks you can pull off a 280zx at a JY and put in your pocket
  18. ok, i should chime in here. I have a ST rear sway, with the ST mounts for the rear control arms. The set I got had plastic bushings instead of urethane, and they extend the sway out 1/2" from the ears. I used shorter bolts/bushings for the sway end links by ES. I bought them at pepboys for 12 bucks a while back. When my leg's healed, I'll take measurements and pics they clear stock axles, but it's very close, i don't know about clearance of the CVs
  19. keep in mind that posting in non-technical forums does not add to your post count, which is why it's still showing 0
  20. Damn, yeah, it is a good deal... I already have a 3.7 r200 lsd from a 300zx turbo though, unless someone wants to trade, lol
  21. that sounds like a decent deal, but the question is has anyone ran powerbrute lsd in an r200 carrier?
