I was at work today and I went outside to throw some **** into the dumpster and there was an engine sitting out back and I started looking at it was a 2 bolt main. A ford of somesort not sure what size though didnt look to closely but it got me thinking. Is it possible to to convert a 2 bolt to 4 bolt main? I was thinking that you could just buy the 4 bolt caps bolting them on then drilling and tap where the extra holes where. Is there any diffrence in the thickness of the web down there between the two? Looked as though there was enough room too do it anyone tried anything like this or heard of it before?

Theres a guy in vancouver area that has a 7 litre diesal making 1600 hp and about 3400 lbs of torque running 150 psi of boost his truck is actualy in petersons 4wheel about a year and a half ago ill see if i can find the mag! It was some wild **** 3 turbos not sure exactly how it worked i just remember the wild numbersi think each turbo was feeding the next if i remember correctly he usualy runs 50 psi to just drive around with and 150 to compete with..

thats actualy pretty cool and i would imagine thermal shock wouldnt be much of an issue because it never really gets super hot if he can run it for an hour and still be able to touch it thats impressive

well then If it was me i would tear it down again not all the way but fix it till its 100% the way you want it! why scrap it and start again? You can always change I have done it lots of times with VWs got em sorta where I wanted but it wasnt right so i ripped it apart and fixed it! Do it in small steps you can never get it 100% the way you want it the first time around anyway well I cant atleast
