  1. They do not have the locater flange/groove nor the o-ring. Also, the site link provided-their pricing includes both sides of v-band and clamp. For me I can do without the locater for less than half...
  2. Here, purchased both [in ss] t-bolt clamps for the kids z intake as well as v-bands. Inexpensive and good quality!
  3. Josey, since we've got the v-bands at the headers why not use them for the rest of the exhaust? I purchased them for mine-tired of the 3 bolts & gaskets...
  4. Keep them coming Josey! Like the zip tie plug wire fix, sweet. Where you ground down the bolt, I had Jimmy [Zkek cnc guy] bore the hole in the bracket a little deeper, shorten the bolt the same amount and machine a tad off the bolt head to provide sufficient clearance from the belt. Same end result... Can't wait to see the duals all the way back. Side [each of fuel cell] or center exit? H or X pipe, resonators, mufflers, cutouts? You thinking an angled plug wire or something different?
  5. Checked, I have one. End that is splined to slide onto the rack, other end attaches to the steering coupler. pm me.
  6. Oxy sensors and [for those who opted for them] v-band connectors welded. Shipping boxes arrived today and tomorrow begins welding collectors to headers. pics! collectors, bungs & v-bands Field of stainless steel group buy long-tube dreams-enjoy!
  7. Yasin, I've only done a quick test fit so really can't say just yet. Unfortunately my garage is not heated and current temp is about 20f. Too cold for me to get motivated enough to spend any real time there...
  8. It's close, here is a link to Brian's site, where mine was purchased. Is this yours?
  9. Here is the victory spoiler on my z. No longer on there as I've gone with the sparrow tail now... sparrow...
  10. You may need to perform some slight massaging on the right side near the passengers left ankle for the t56 to fit. When installing evilc's we found some room by modifying the reverse switch then cutting down the protective bosses and [if memory serves me correctly] eliminated the need to 'beat' the tunnel.
  11. On the z's you used to replace just the rubber part, some parts stores still carry the refills. Call me, I have quite a few spare used wiper blades and replaced the rubber on mine not too long ago and may have the part number [somewhere...]. David
  12. Tony, many thanks for the kind words, I am humbled.
  13. Alan, the numbers listed below-for the black mirrors? I have the chrome/stainless mirrors on my z but do not know the numbers for them and think I remember reading somewhere they are not the correct mirrors for the s30, just black-is that accurate? Do you know the part numbers for the chrome/stainless models?
  14. Boy you sure went to town with the lube. That looks like the red stuff [name escapes me now] that we used in my shop when I used to work on helicopters in the army...is it?
  15. I have these: $70 NOS performance springs-no markings [handwritten tag shows years], 74.5-78 z's, measured length; 2 are 13", 2x 14"
  16. Keith, I have both my [gm] fans programmed to run/off together.
  17. Just got off the phone with Blake. Multiple headers are nearing completion; many have tubes welded to flanges, he's busy now welding the collectors to the tubes [collectors arrived this morning], will drill holes & weld O2 sensor bungs then complete each set as ordered [v-band connectors &/or high speed merge collectors, etc.]. SunnyZ is looking for a trailer as I type this note and anticipates his will be ready this weekend and his Z will be released from "long tube header demo custody"! We owe Josey [sunnyZ] a big thanks for donating his LSX-Z as the long tube model - it's been there nearly a year! Not withstanding any unanticipated delays we should all have our long tubes within a couple of weeks. SunnyZ gets his first then on down the line.
