  1. Will the brass or aluminum, as it wears out, have any effect on the tranny? It's gotta go somewhere...
  2. The other parts you need to check are; shifter pin and the end bushing. Last time I replaced shifter bushings found those worn as well.
  3. Purchased his tow hooks and rear spoiler, excellent communication along the way as well as awesome products.
  4. I have a pair of lovely [kidding] butterscotch color 240z panels from a 71. Last pair I shipped was less than $25 but took me about 40 min to 'build' a box for them. These are for sale, $50 + shipping if you're interested.
  5. Here is one...ends on fleabay in about 30 hours, seller has them listed occasionally along with other jdm s30 parts.
  6. And it continues! 1st set of longtubes fresh off the jigs, 2am this morning!
  7. Rotors are sourced from Coleman. I now order directly from them-had to do this as MML has been unreliable in their communication and I envisioned myself years from now and nowhere to get brake parts and my z sitting in the garage...not good.
  8. You provided a link to their front brakes, did you mean the rears? If so, they use a 240sx caliper and those calipers do retain the stock e-brake cable. If you pair their 13" fronts with the 240sx rears you may experience the same heavy front bias system I had on my z. Have since replaced the rears with a different setup which now provides the proper bias.
  9. Makaofox, nice addition to this most helpful thread, thanks! Going to HF today to purchase the disc brake service kit, current price is $39.99. I was using their $6 squarish tool that fits onto a 3/8 ratchet but feel the kit will serve much better.
  10. It would be helpful to others who may have what you desire if you included the year z you own...
  11. Couple things. Yes, correctly installed as Edan designed the kit bleeders will point down. It was not too difficult to bleed them, as Edan stated. For the pistons, as with the 240sx calipers I'd recommend you visit your local parts store and purchase a tool to do this with. The one I have is square and has pins on all sides for various applications and a 3/8" drive-makes piston retracting simple, quick and much easier than the way I was doing it [don't ask...].
  12. Pat, my first spoiler was the 3 piece, spent many hours fiberglassing and blending it to the body. Eventually it began to separate and I removed it. Have seen many and like the looks but all that have been blended [that I've seen anyway] were separating in one area or another.
  13. Thanks for the props on pics, much appreciated-sorry they weren't cleaner. I do like the ford calipers; inexpensive, effective, extremely wide variety of pad options AND, if something breaks I can go to the dealer or any parts store and find what i need in stock!
  14. Yet another delivery at the shop today, feast your eyes! 8 piles of ~20 each mandrel bend stainless steel tubes for our custom long tube LSX headers, we'll have our longtubes yet!!
