  1. Anwar, I'm interested in a no-vent / smooth wiper cowl panel in fg, wonder if they are in the works. Thanks, David
  2. Pete, thanks for the fix-I'm good for awhile now...
  3. Welcome to Hybridz. Nice [past] builds and your z looks promising and I look forward to see it in final guise!
  4. Pete, the exhaust looks great-a reminder, you will be banned if you don't post a video soon!
  5. P, I have the following; grill, larger rear sway bar, type 1 air dam [fg not urethane], rear spoiler-similar to bre. All parts in Rochester, no shipping required! pm me
  6. Just called Blake and he'll work up the non-group-buy pricing, get back to me and I'll post here once I have the info.
  7. [cut & pasted this message from the email Blake sent me less than an hour ago...] . The LSX long tube group buy now officially closed, if your name is not on the list, sorry. Good news is that after all on the list have their LT's you can purchase a pair, at a modest price increase... Pricing info [from page 1 of this thread]: -$825 per pair + shipping includes; oxygen sensory bungs tig welded onto collector tube, oem multi layer steel [mls] gaskets, header bolts, 3" collector [no flange or otherwise]. "Termination" options for collector: -V-band connector $110 [includes 1/2 of v welded to collector, matching 1/2 to weld onto your exhaust and connector] -High speed merge collector $325 All - please read the information below and contact Blake as soon as possible to provide him the details of your order, receive a total [based on your options] and remit payment. When you contact him [phone or email] be certain to provide him both user id and your 'real name' so he can pair them together. "Well guys the Monday has finally came that I think a few were doubting they would see!!! LOL, Everything is a go!!! I have been in touch with the bender, flange cutter, and collector maker... they are all waiting on my call to say go! I do understand that there was one person requesting 1.875" headers, unfortunately I am unable to make them work so they will receive 1.75" headers. My contact information: 417 Motorsports / Blake Hughes 326 N Kansas Exp. Springfield, MO 65802 417-865-1314 Once I have provided you a total remit payment via paypal [please add 3% to cover their 'fee'] to: 417motorsports@gmail.com This arrangement was based on the 19 sets pre-sold as part of the group buy and until all payments [19 customers] are received I will not go forth with the process - as I do not want to get stuck with 25 sets of these headers LOL. I will have pictures [which Josey-sunnyz or David-1tuffz will post] as soon as all parts are sitting in the shop and the fabrication and assembling takes place. Josey [sunnyz] as soon as I have one set of these headers completed and test fit you will have your Z back! The bender said 3-4 weeks tops and I will have the tubes here. The flanges get cut locally the rest of the parts are in stock at the vender Thanks again for the opportunity to help the Z community, Blake Huges"
  8. Clive, don't forget about school quality if you're planning on a family. Ann subbed then taught when we lived in NC and we both vowed that our children would definitely be going to private schools. Benefit of NC is our taxes were stupid low-if i remember less than $1k per year. That's less than 1/4 of what we pay now in upstate, NY but...kids attend excellent schools. Think the current taxes are much more affordable than the private school bill would have been. Of course, we have to think about that cost once they graduate [4 years and they'll both be done]. Then NC looks like the real bargain. Of course here we live without; earthquakes, mudslides, drought, significant flooding and such. What do we have; lots of snow, occasional ice storms, pot-holed roads [too much insensible salting] and such-anyway, you lived here so this info isn't anything new. dp
  9. Looks great-like the body colored flares and how low it is. I just ordered the same rear spoiler from Brian [azcarbum] and can't wait to get it!
  10. Great history lesson and background-thanks for taking the time to explain. Love to see more detailed pics of the interesting exhaust!
  11. Sweet s30z! For those of us who may not know [me included] what is Shakotan fashion?
  12. Saw this one in McKinleyville, CA right drive 280 perhaps-no pics
  13. very nice install, any pics from the belly side?
  14. Dash looks great, what did you use for filler & primer?
  15. I agree with RB26powered74zcar. I too am sick of too many installing legal hid's into non-projector housings that literally throw light everywhere. As cygnus stated-install some good quality non-hid bulbs in your non-reflector housings and drive. Of course any rants here will only fall on our ears and the majority of us on this site understand which bulbs go where... Done ranting-someone get me a cold beer while I install my hid's into dot legal projector housings!
  16. How did i miss this build before now? Awesome work, subscribed!! Can't wait to see some video when it's running.
  17. Clive, Rags is in and we're at 19 total. Spoke with our builder today. Tubes you've seen in prior pics should be in the hands of the cnc mandrel bender shop he found shortly [think in days]. Once the benders have the opportunity to inspect each of the 8 tubes, measured, angled, etc., they'll contact him with a final price on the bends/tubing. Assuming their original estimate with builder was close we'll be a go. Next step; benders build 8 tubes, ship them builder, he welds tubes to the flanges as well as oxy sensor bungs-all for the first pair - sunnyZ! Final inspection to ensure the bender guys have accurately reproduced the prototype tubes, builders' initial tubes were/are accurate [making any adjustments needed] and the headers still meet our criteria we'll be a go! Once welded he'll also be able to confirm primary sizing options. So, our hopes are within a couple of weeks we can; begin production [sunnyz's first], post builder contact info here, have each of you contact, order, pay and such. That is all the info I have for now and will post here when further details become available. As always, many thanks for your patience!
  18. I run no rear bar and my z corners [both street & track] and can prompted to oversteer with the handy 'go pedal'. My filter, single on left side, has seen light to heavy rain. Only when on the track [Watkins Glen] in heavy rain, driving hard, have I ever noticed any problems. Moderate or light rain or simply highway driving in even heavy rain has not caused any problems. Z has rolled 17,000 miles since the LS1 swap in 2006. Almost forgot, great looking z!
  19. If I may suggest; consider multiple boxes-this might help keep the shipping somewhat reasonable. I normally use usps for overseas shipping.
  20. I just added you to the list-welcome to the long tube lsx crew!
  21. unmolested ebay z listing, about 6 days remaining [end oct 16th] in Hayward, CA. It's got hybridz written all over it! One of you west coast hybridz guys need to get on this.
  22. Mike, have nearly 17000 miles on my q diff and no boot issues that I'm aware of-having said that I'm likely to go peek under the z and find something awry... Biggest issue with my q diff is the axles pounding the crap out of the axle stops. They'll come apart this winter for inspection. Had the machinest 'smooth' the hammered part last winter, we'll see how they look now.
  23. they are still an option-just firming commitment at this time.
