i'll be watching the classifieds too, and would also be curious about the whole package price...but i see i was beaten to it hehe. no worries! -

sounds awesome! i don't know a whole lot about the rotary's but my buddy has a '94 FD, and so i know a little through him. I do know that if you want a turbo build a 2 rotor (13B) will be more than enough. a 3 rotor (20B) is if you wanna go like 500hp+ i really like the rx-7's though so good luck to ya! glad to see another person is hooked. oh yeah...and BUY THAT 95!! like right now! lol

sooo....i was thinking as i was on a drive with a buddy of mine, about the stereo i bought for my z. its an Alpine CDA9856, and has an option for the bluetooth kit, which as i understand it, when installed will interrupt the music when you get a phone call, and can play the call through the speakers. So i was thinking if there was a way to use the same interrupt feature and wire in a 2 way radio. i know that they have different frequencies, but i was thinking that the same feature might still be usable. I would be willing if need be to take apart a radio of mine if this could work...just don't know if its even physically possible with a radio Just wondering what you guys think of the idea, and if it could be done?

just found this thread and thought i'd give it a jump start again i am about to do my hatch glass and windshield, and am a little weary of paying $200-$300 to get it done anyways im considering doing it myself, just was wondering if anyone has some pictures to aid in the explanation? as above, im a little unsure as to where the weatherstripping plays into it all...

sooo... got my car back from the body shop all painted and pretty, and the owner showed me how to wet sand. Cool. so now i sanded down a door...started with 1500, then went to 2000# and then 3 stages of polishing compound, each with a different buffing wheel. cool stuff. then i get the door into some decent light (sun had gone down) and i can still see scratches!! so i figure no big deal, must have just been 1500 scratches that i didn't get. So i sand it again with 2000. Buff it out again, and now there are MORE SCRATCHES!! soo...im thinking maybe i didn't have the paper wet enough the second time around? i dunno. there's 3 coats of clear on it, but i don't really know how much that is and if im gonna be able to try and re do it again. soo....anybody have any opinions? im kinda hesitant to start on any other pieces if its all gonna end up like this. I'll try and put up some pictures soon

the F-22 has no exterior weapon holds. everything is held within the belly to reduce drag, and have no radar signature. Those are the doors for the weapon payload open. whoopsie, didn't realize there was a second page and this question was answered! hehe also that P-51D is from my town! (im pretty sure) there's an aviation museum here that i help out at sometimes. Have the p-51, a bearcat, a team of T6's, an avenger, and some others i can't think of off the top of my head. Really incredible stuff there.

yeah thats what i was playing around with...switching the left and right turn signals...but i really don't like it. and as for the little plastic pieces that go around it, i only have one and it won't fit around them back wards (other one got broken) anyone know where to find one of those plastic frames for the turn signals?? i've been looking for a while and can't find anything. -

Well while i've been letting the paint harden up, i've been doing what i can without the doors, hood, hatch and glass set back in. Basically just getting interior pieces put back in, and i got the front of the the engine bay painted to match the hood. I'll probably leave the main engine bay how it is for now until i start getting into beefing it up. I was playing with switching up the turn signals...don't think i really like it this way. lol the grill also looks really good against the black background after letting the paint harden up for about a week and a half i started wet sanding and polishing the paint the other night. Really incredible results! -
i live about 5 hours away....lol

Well guys, its not done yet...but it is back home and PAINTED!! no pics of the doors, hood, hatch, or air dam cause they're still at the body shop. im gonna wait about a week before i start wet sanding/buffing. then i have to install the glass, weatherstripping, doors, hatch, hood. Also gotta wire in the stereo and speakers. and put the interior back together. But anyway, here is what 350z Daytona Blue looks like on an S30 280z!! So what do ya think?? I'll keep it updated as i get it back together. -

^^ too much haha as far as the rear goes, im not too worried about it. i only used just enough to cover the holes..though it does look alot thicker in the pictures. also, the body shop i took it to layed their own layer over the whole panel, and im pretty sure i should be safe with it. Time will tell though. but if you're looking for a way to do it, without welding (i had no access to a welder, or someone who could weld)...its a great easy way to go. -

thanks guys! its really come a long way...never would have thought it would get a paint job like this to top it off...but im glad i forked out the cash for it. well for now just stock NA...maybe a 60mm TB or something like that. since, like i said above, i've pretty much never driven the car...i want to understand the car perfectly before i start adding more power. though eventually i'll go turbo. i'd like to build something that will push about 350-400hp...probably 400 being my max...but im sure that can change as i get to know the car, and what i'll be able to handle. also, i see you're in spokane...thats awesome cause im moving out there at the end of the summer for flight training at Spokane Falls. -
well there's a wrx in the driveway....and i decidet to go with the 350z blue instead. I love both colors, and they're really close, but the z just had a much deeper blue on it than the subie. thats what i was looking for, so i went with it. the wrx blue is a really really nice blue though and would look awesome, buuut.... just like above, its your opinion that matters!

i see some hunting opportunities in that pic.... lol just kiddin!
