i gotta say im really impressed. I've heard of it before, but simply thought it was just a cool way to controll a descent. No way i could have imagined those kind of climb characteristics. incredible. Now i wonder when the military is gonna get a hold of these little buggers. Just imagine a Special Ops team flying at night to the LZ, instead of having to be dropped... and didn't sound like it was very loud either. EDIT: i guess thats not really practical....but hey it would be cool to see! too cool

Try taking it down to your local hardware store. Maybe something like a plumbing end-cap might be able to screw onto it. can't speak for clearance with the gas-flap though.

yeah as of now there are 97,000 views. thats right. almost 100,000 views and the thread is barely a day old. it's also #2 on Digg's top 10 list right now. says later in the thread that the site is running on 2 dual core and a quad core servers to handle all the traffic. So, its gonna be slow for a while i love it. totally gotta read through the whole thread. It's priceless.

thats just amazing. Can't imagine the amount of engineering that went into that "car"...more like a spaceship on wheels lol. which is probably why the star wars music was so fitting.

So im planning on visiting a friend later on this month a few hours away from minneapolis. Im looking at renting a car for the weekend, but am finding it impossible to rent a car under 21. (im 19) Just wondering if anyone in the area, or not, knows of a place that will rent to underage drivers? I know there will be a fee...which may just make me spend a little extra and fly there...i dunno:confused: anyway figured i'd throw it out there before i start spending too long not finding anything. also i know the weather over there...and although it doesn't look to great to say the least, i am fairly confident in winter-driving conditions.

guess i missed this thread when it came out. Anyway it would be awesome to see a Z in Formula D this year. Hope he got the sponsors he needed. I think the 07 season starts the end of march.

well, i would imagine it depends on how much work/time and or $$ you want to put into it. I know another alternative is paint stripper although i have no experience in this. personally i just sanded down my previous coat of paint, because i had no reason to go to bare metal again. (paint was laid properly, and had no adhersion problems) EDIT: sanded with a electric sander, then sanded by hand afterwards. Racer X will be sure to chime in on this at some point...so take his advice to heart.

is the green inside just the car without it's interior pieces or did you paint plastic? cause its actually kind of a cool contrast.... Car looks amazing btw!

lol...yea i realize this...thats why the spoiler confused me so much, and still does...

isn't that front spoiler upside down? looks like it would create more lift than downforce... but i guess as was stated above its not for downforce? lol whatever...just had to point it out i guess EDIT: after looking at the pic/racer x's post i guess its to create lift in the front making the rear end go down correct?

i know that a couple knobs on the 280 dash is different from the 240 (brightness controll/trip reset). But other than that it should fit as far as size and everything goes...but not completely sure.

not arguing here...but thought that most PCV's went into the valve cover. Positive Crankshaft Ventelation (sp?) but i could be wrong.
