  1. This guy in a BMW weaves traffic like a blanket. Absolutely awesome driving. I think he gets up to around 160mph (what it said where i got the link) And ofcourse the enya is the ultimate driving music. lol:icon56: (actually in all honesty, i like listening to charlotte church when driving mountain roads) http://media1.break.com/dnet/media/content/crazydriver11.wmv
  2. the trim comes off pretty easily actually.... just start in the back, and start prying it off. Go easy, and take your time...
  3. mull, this is a picture of the blue zhadman used on his car. I love it, and i'm gonna probably use it....i think it's what your'e thinking of too. EDIT: forum can be found here: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=112280
  4. thanks, thats about what i was budgeting for paint. and yea...i can imagine how long that took...were they all blue colors? complete side note, but as far as primer goes, how should i attack that? i'll be spraying primer in about a week or two to give myself some time to sand it and prep it the right way. already sanded the whole car with 100 grit. Is there a certain brand or type of primer to use? i've heard that its a good idea to buy from the same place as the paint... haha, im shooting straight in the dark with all this. thanks!
  5. yea...i think that is pretty much exactly the color im looking for...THANKS!! +1 reason this site rocks!! do you have any pictures of the car back together?
  6. wow....for a blue, i don't think it's possible to top that color. what was the price range for that paint? im assuming you did it yourself, as im gonna do.
  7. well, its about that time...gotta decide on a color. Probably not going into paint for another 2 - 3 weeks, but figure i might aswell get a head start on figuring this out. I've been almost completely set on a nice deep blue, maybe something like this... but i've also seen some amazing coppers, and red's out there... I don't want a common color that i'll lose in the parking lot. So, figured i'd see what all your favorite color's are...maybe post some pics...i dunno. Don't want black, and i havn't seen a green i like. Anyway, lets see what ya got! Thanks alot! EDIT: its supposed to say "paint" decisions ;P
  8. man, that looks sweeeeet. love the lines infront on the side and hood...really sets it off. imho. you should finish the camo on the side and bring it across the rear quarter too...kinda looks half done...but not bad.
  9. crazy how much of an effect a little wing can have.... gotta say tho that car is hot..but just can't top the zonda, in my mind:icon6:
  10. so is the tuereno AE86 the same as a toyota corolla? watched initail d again the other night and was wonderin...
  11. Hey! congratulations man! I just graduated too this afternoon. just got back from our senior trip down to seattle (raced go-karts, gambled, and had some students hypnotised(sp?) )....now for some sleep.
  12. um....30mph lol (brakes pretty much shot) Driving from my friend's house where i bought the car straight into our garage. but i did hit 120 in my dad's WRX
  13. oh really? well i guess that makes sense actually... I dunno i'd probably do it anyway just to be safe...but thats just cause im OCD:shifty: lol..not really but sometimes it feels that way.
  14. wow. I don't know skylines too well. I'm guessing that's a GTR...anybody know what year?
  15. hahahaha...thats great Is that real?? it would be awesome if it was. lol...i'd hate to be that guy showing up back to his crew.
  16. lol i went to go see it with 2 friends of mine....great movie. I loved it. I'm also pretty sure that the adults there were laughing harder than any of the kids....thats the brilliance of pixar.
  17. well...i don't really know much about painting, but i did pick up some stuff in preperation for my car... If you're gonna paint the pieces individually, you have to make sure that you're painting them in the same position as it would be on the car. Don't paint a door sitting hanging up, and the quarter panell sitting on the ground cause the paint will fall differently, and give you a slightly different color. lol...just my $.02
  18. ah, i stand corrected then. I guess i just thought it was a cross between overcompensation and flooring the gas...i think heel-toe pedaling fits in there somewhere....figured the e-brake would just get in the way of that. But anyway...now im really curious...what is the "correct" way to drift? EDIT: a lot of my assumptions come from the movie "initial D"....and trying to make sense of it.
  19. well i have to say...although the plot looks horrible, the race scenes look halfway decent. saw a preview in the theaters tonight. also saw some dumb 'behind the scenes' thing before it where one of the actors was talking about how to drift by pulling the e-brake. *if i'm not mistaken...the e-brake has no role in drifting...* I can see it now....a million ricers running around the streets sliding out of controll cause they are tryin to "drift" in their FWD cars
  20. what a battle!! anyone know who those drivers are?
  21. take a look on my thread here http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=110833 to find out the way NOT to do it lol. Im just gonna hope for the best. I'm also doing the same thing as you with welding in the holes from the side stripping. Show us some progress pics!
