After paint, how long before I can cover it?

Is the paint going to be sprayed in a booth, then heated and cured? If it is, wait a couple of weeks minimum, if it is not going to be heated, wait a couple of months. -

Sorry Mike...incorrecty information supplied. The Merkur XR4Ti is not a European Escort, but rather a Ford Sierra. A real POS that I would not touch with a 10 foot barge pole. It has a terrible reputation for low build quality, reliability issues and on and on. It was released also as the Sierra XR8, which came with a 302ci V8. My Dad raced one very successfully for several years.

Guy, if you use a 2 part primer, I don't think the sealer is required. I didn't use a sealer for the truck, but I did with the Z, but I didn't use a 2 part primer with the Z.

I bought the Titan gun kit and sprayed my truck with it......they spray fairly well.

I bought the Missus a 05 Focus. Apart from the annoying turn signal "click", it is actually quite a pleasant car to drive. Still new, so long term quality remains to be seen, but so far it seems good. The engine is surprisingly peppy. Dealership was a PITA to deal with though....but that is to be expected.
